Peddi Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: Peddi is facing its first major box-office challenge today (June 8) as it undergoes the all-important Monday test. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the Telugu sports drama arrived in cinemas on June 4 and has enjoyed a strong run during its extended opening weekend.

Headlined by Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film has emerged as one of the biggest box-office performers of the year. However, its theatrical success has been accompanied by controversy, with a section of viewers criticizing Janhvi Kapoor's character for what they described as an overly sexualized portrayal. The debate intensified online, prompting director Buchi Babu Sana to issue an apology. Janhvi also drew attention after expressing concern over an allegedly leaked private chat, further fueling discussions surrounding the film.

Peddi Box Office Collection Day 4 (Opening Weekend)

Peddi kicked off its theatrical journey on an impressive note. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned ₹51 cr net on its opening day alone, while paid previews contributed an additional ₹18.50 cr before the official release.

The momentum continued throughout the weekend. On Sunday, the sports drama registered a 10.6% jump in collections and brought in ₹31.90 cr net. By the end of Day 4, Peddi had amassed an estimated ₹187.02 cr gross across India, while its domestic net total stood at ₹157.15 cr.

Peddi 5 Days Collection Early Trend (First Monday)

As expected, the film has witnessed a noticeable decline in collections on its first weekday. Despite the slowdown, the film continues to perform steadily at the ticket windows. As per Sacnilk's real-time estimates, Peddi had collected approximately ₹6.14 cr on Day 5 by 6:30 PM.

With these early figures, the film's India gross collection has climbed to around ₹194.26 crore, while its domestic net total has reached approximately ₹163.29 cr. If the current trend continues through the evening shows, Peddi is expected to move even closer to the coveted ₹200 cr mark (India gross figures) before the end of its first Monday.
