Amid the growing buzz, a report published by entertainment portal Gulte on May 8 claimed that a significant portion of the film's overall expenditure is linked to remuneration paid to key cast and crew members. According to the report, Ram Charan is believed to be drawing a fee of around ₹100 crore for the project. The publication also reported that director Buchi Babu Sana could be receiving approximately ₹30 crore.

The same report suggested that other major contributors, including composer A.R. Rahman, actress Janhvi Kapoor, and several technicians associated with the film, account for an additional ₹35-40 crore in remuneration expenses. However, the makers of Peddi have not publicly confirmed any of these figures.

According to Gulte, the film's budget has been driven by a combination of remuneration costs, production expenses, and the scale of the project. The report also noted that producer Venkata Satish Kilaru was targeting a substantial profit margin through the film's theatrical and distribution business.
