Peddi (Tamil Nadu) Box Office Collection Day 1 (Early Trends): Ram Charan's Film To Cross XXCr Today
Peddi (Tamil Nadu) Box Office Collection Day 1 (Early Trend): Ram Charan returns to cinemas with Peddi, a sports drama that marks the star's first release of the year. The film has generated heavy pre-release chatter and is now drawing mixed reactions from audiences and critics, yet reports indicate a decent opening at the Indian box office across languages. Peddi released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, widening Ram Charan's reach among regional viewers. While opinions on the narrative vary, many reviews single out Ram Charan's work in the title role and note that the first on-screen pairing with Janhvi Kapoor adds extra curiosity.

Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena. The ensemble includes Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani in central parts, supporting the narrative around rural struggle, sporting ambition and the clash with influential figures. Ram Charan's previous film Game Changer drew a lukewarm response in 2023, making Peddi an important release for the actor. With multilingual reach, a sports-driven storyline and a focus on village rights, the film now aims to build on early box office momentum despite the mixed critical chatter. As Peddi was released amid massive buzz, the movie saw a decent response in Tamil Nadu

Meanwhile, talking about Peddi, Ram Charan told India Today that it was the most difficult character he had played so far. He added, "I am very fortunate to be playing the character. We are representing a section of people that are unheard, who need the voice and need the recognition. And to play a character like that, which is very necessary in a country like India. I feel very proud and fortunate to come across a role like this".
