Peddi Trailer Launch: Ram Charan Reveals Shooting With Real Pehelwans Instead Of Trained Artists
The heavily anticipated trailer of Ram Charan's Peddi is finally out, and it packs a punch! Showcasing Ram Charan as a cricketer, wrestler, and sprinter, the trailer builds expectations among the audience to experience a never-before-seen avatar of the actor. And Ram, being the dedicated actor he is, left no stone unturned in bringing authenticity to every frame.

During the trailer launch event, Ram Charan opened up about shooting with real pehelwans instead of trained artists. "Last 25-30 days, we were doing kushti and pehelwan shoots. And I asked our director Buchi Babu Sana to get trained artists, but he got real pehelwans. While shooting, I got a cartilage tear, but that's fine. It's worth it, and it's a beautiful memory of Peddi," shared Ram Charan.
The trailer showcases a rustic setup and brings a raw, rooted energy to the rural action-sports drama, establishing the protagonist's love for sports. It displays Ram Charan as a crossover athlete, as a wrestler, cricketer and sprinter who earns a livelihood through physical prowess. The actor's physical transformation in Peddi is balanced with emotional layers, making the spectacle a must-watch on the big screens!
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 4.
