According to a tweet shared by AB George, Peddi made a collection of Rs 37cr from advance booking worldwide for the premiere and day 1 while the overseas presales is over $1.5million. To note, the final global advance booking colletion turned out to be over Rs 50cr.


Did Peddi Beat Devara Worldwide Advance Booking Collection?

Interestingly, Peddi has been witnessing a comparison with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara Part 1. However, despite all the buzz, Peddi is likely to fail to beat worldwide advance booking of Devara which was around Rs80 crore ($9.5M USD)

Meanwhile, talking about Peddi, Ram Charan told India Today that it was the most difficult character he had played so far. He added, "I am very fortunate to be playing the character. We are representing a section of people that are unheard, who need the voice and need the recognition. And to play a character like that, which is very necessary in a country like India. I feel very proud and fortunate to come across a role like this".
