Rakasa Box Office Collection Day 3: Sangeeth Shobhan's Film Sees Slight Dip, Nears ₹8 Cr India Net
Rakasa Box Office Collection: The Telugu fantasy-comedy thriller Rakasa, starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, has completed three days at the box office and entered Day 4 (Monday, April 6) with a modest performance trend. The film, which released on April 3, 2026, has shown a steady but slightly declining pattern in its daily collections over the opening weekend.

As per figures reported by Sacnilk, Rakasa collected around ₹2.47 crore net in India on Day 3 (Sunday). The film was screened across approximately 1,488 shows, with occupancy holding at about 33%, similar to the previous day. Despite the weekend advantage, the film did not witness a significant jump in numbers, indicating a relatively stable but subdued response.
After three days, the film's total India net collection stands at ₹7.92 crore, while the India gross has reached approximately ₹9.13 crore. In overseas markets, Rakasa has grossed around ₹2.50 crore so far, taking its worldwide gross collection to ₹11.63 crore by the end of its opening weekend.
The film opened with ₹2.85 crore on Friday, followed by a slight drop to ₹2.60 crore on Saturday. Sunday collections further dipped marginally to ₹2.47 crore. This gradual decline over the weekend suggests that the film did not fully capitalize on the typical upward trend seen during the first three days of release.
Rakasa Plot, Cast, And Weekday Box Office Trend To Watch
Directed by Manasa Sharma and produced by Pink Elephant Pictures and Zee Studios, Rakasa blends fantasy, comedy, and thriller elements. The story follows an NRI who returns home after ten years in search of love, but an unexpected mistake awakens an ancient darkness long feared by the village. As the situation spirals, he finds himself caught in a dangerous turn of events where his life is at risk.
The supporting cast includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, and Rohini, among others. The film attempts to balance humour with fantasy-driven conflict, set within a rural backdrop.
As the film moves into the weekday phase starting Monday (Day 4), its box office trend will be closely watched to assess how it sustains after the opening weekend.
With an opening weekend that remained largely steady but without major spikes, Rakasa now faces the challenge of maintaining consistent footfall during the weekdays.
