Rakasa OTT Release: Rakasa, the Telugu comedy-fantasy thriller starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, arrived in theatres on April 3, 2026. Directed by Manasa Sharma, the film was produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures along with Zee Studios. The film is a comedy-fantasy thriller that blends supernatural elements with romance and a village-based mystery.

The story follows an NRI who returns home after ten years in search of love. However, a single mistake awakens an ancient darkness feared by the village for generations. As the threat grows, love takes a dangerous turn, and his life is pushed into uncertainty.

Alongside the lead pair, the film also features Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukhwinder Singh, Anoop Singh, Vasu Inturi, Rohini, and Rohan Roy in supporting roles. The film's narrative combines humour and fantasy with suspense-driven storytelling, placing its lead character in the middle of a dangerous and unexpected situation.

The film's music was composed by Anudeep Dev, while cinematography was handled by Raju Edurolu and editing by Anwar Ali. Production design was managed by Ramanjaneyulu, and VFX supervision was handled by Murali Manohar Reddy. The choreography was done by JD and Bhanu, while lyrics were written by Raghuram, Simhachalam Mannela, and Kittu Vissapragada.

The project also had additional screenplay support from Mahesh Uppala and was backed by executive producer Ramesh Manyam. The audio rights were released under Saregama.

Rakasa OTT Release Date And Platform

Following its theatrical run, attention has now shifted to the film's digital release. Streaming platform Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for Rakasa, and the film is scheduled to begin streaming from May 1, 2026.

The movie will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, allowing it to reach a wider audience beyond its theatrical release. Viewers who missed the film in cinemas will now be able to watch it from home once it arrives on the platform.
