Rao Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 4: Satyadev's Film Sees Monday Dip, Nears ₹9 Crore Worldwide Gross

Rao Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 4: Telugu psychological drama Rao Bahadur, starring Satyadev in the lead role, witnessed a significant slowdown at the box office on its first Monday after opening in cinemas on July 3. The film, which blends psychological drama with elements of suspense, dark comedy and magical realism, registered a decline in collections following its opening weekend.

Rao Bahadur Day 4 Box Office Nears 9 Crore Worldwide

According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Rao Bahadur collected an estimated ₹0.34 crore net in India on Day 4 (Monday). The figure represents a 66.7 per cent decline from Sunday's India net collection of ₹1.02 crore.

With its Monday business added, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹5.19 crore, while its India gross stands at ₹5.91 crore after four days in theatres. The film has also earned around ₹3 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide gross collection to ₹8.91 crore.

The film opened with ₹1.40 crore on its first Friday before recording its best single-day collection on Saturday with ₹2.43 crore. Collections dropped to ₹1.02 crore on Sunday, followed by a steeper decline on Monday. The film reportedly screened in 925 shows on Day 4 and recorded an overall occupancy of around 18 per cent.

Rao Bahadur Cast And Crew Details

Released on July 3, Rao Bahadur is written, directed and edited by Venkatesh Maha. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a fading aristocratic family and follows the life of a royal figure struggling to move beyond the past.

Satyadev plays the title character, while the cast also includes Vikas Muppala, Deepa Thomas, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, Kunal Kaushik, Master Kiran and others in supporting roles.

The film was presented by Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar under the GMB Entertainment banner. It has been produced by Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra, Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, and Eshwaran Vijayaraghavan under the banners A+S Movies, SriChakraas Entertainments, Mahayana Motion Pictures, and Better Invest Media Vision Fund.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Kartik Parmar, music composer Smaran Sai, production designer Rohan Singh, costume designer Shilpa GNS, sound designer Ashwin Rajashekar, and sound mixer Aravind Menon.

As of Tuesday (Day 5), the film continues its theatrical run. The performance during the remaining weekdays will be important in determining whether Rao Bahadur can maintain a steady run at the box office. With its worldwide gross nearing the ₹9 crore mark after four days, the coming days are expected to provide a clearer indication of how the film performs ahead of its second weekend.
