Shambhala OTT Release: The Telugu supernatural horror thriller Shambhala marked its theatrical release on December 25, 2025, arriving during the year-end holiday window. Written and directed by Ugandhar Muni, the film is set against the backdrop of a remote village and blends elements of folklore, mystery, and investigation. The film features Aadi Saikumar in the lead role, with Archana Iyer playing a key character.

Set in the 1980s, Shambhala revolves around a quiet village whose routine life is disrupted after a meteor crash nearby. In the aftermath, residents begin exhibiting disturbing behavior, and a series of unexplained deaths unsettles the community. Fear and superstition spread quickly, with villagers attributing the incidents to supernatural forces. Against this backdrop, Vikram, a scientist played by Aadi Saikumar, arrives in the village to study the meteor and understand the root cause of the events scientifically. As his investigation deepens, the narrative explores the village's history and its long-held beliefs.

The film also introduces Devi, portrayed by Archana Iyer, who assists Vikram as he navigates local customs and stories surrounding Shambhala's deity. The storyline gradually unfolds through Vikram's interactions with villagers and his attempts to connect the present-day disturbances with past events.

Cast, Crew, and Streaming Details

Shambhala is produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures banner. The technical team includes music composer Sricharan Pakala, cinematographer Praveen K. Bangarri, and editor Shravan Katikaneni. The supporting cast features actors such as Swasika Vijay, Madhunandan, Ravi Varma, Meesala Laxman, Shiju Menon, Harsha Vardhan, and Shailaja Priya, among others.

Following its theatrical run, the film is now preparing for its digital release. The OTT rights of Shambhala have been acquired by Telugu streaming platform Aha. The film is scheduled to begin streaming on January 22, 2026. Additionally, subscribers to the platform's premium plan, Aha Gold, will get early access to the film a day earlier, starting January 21, 2026.
