Spirit First Look Poster X Reactions: Prabhas-Triptii Dimri's Intense Visual Sparks Conversation Online
Spirit First Look Poster X Reactions: The first look poster of Spirit, starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, was unveiled at midnight on December 31, setting off widespread discussion as the industry stepped into the new year. The film marks director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next project after Animal and reunites him with producer Bhushan Kumar for another large-scale collaboration.

The poster showcases Prabhas standing shirtless with his back turned to the camera, his body marked by visible bruises and injuries. Multiple medical bandages are wrapped around his shoulder, upper arm, and across his back, visually suggesting a character who has endured sustained physical conflict. He is dressed in loose white trousers, reinforcing a raw look. A cigarette rests between his lips, while one hand holds a glass containing alcohol.
Standing close to him is Triptii Dimri, positioned almost in profile. She is dressed in a simple, muted-toned saree, with minimal styling. She is shown lighting his cigarette, her expression composed and focused, conveying a quiet intimacy between the two characters. The setting appears to be a balcony area, with the actors framed within a doorway, while faint outlines of a city skyline are visible in the background.
The poster also confirms that Spirit is being positioned as a major multilingual release. Along with the four southern languages and Hindi, the film is also slated for release in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
Spirit First Look: Social Media Response
Social media witnessed a wave of reactions through the night and into the morning. While some users focused on Prabhas's physical transformation for the role, others discussed the on-screen pairing with Triptii Dimri, who previously collaborated with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in Animal. The poster's gritty tone also drew comparisons to the filmmaker's earlier works, with discussions revolving around whether Spirit will continue his signature style of emotionally charged protagonists. Some of these reactions are highlighted below:
The production team comprises several regular collaborators of Vanga. Gulshan Kumar and T-Series present the film, produced under the T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures banners by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga. The technical lineup includes production designer Suresh Selvarajan, cinematographer Raj Thota, background score composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and costume designers Aarthi V and Priyanka V. Sync Cinema handles the sound design.
Besides Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, the cast reportedly includes Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana, and Prakash Raj. Industry reports previously indicated that Deepika Padukone had been considered for the female lead but opted out due to scheduling concerns, after which Triptii Dimri was brought in.
Vanga had earlier released a short audio teaser in multiple Indian languages on Prabhas's 46th birthday. Spirit is currently slated for a 2026 release, and with the first look now out, audience expectations are likely to grow as the film moves further through production.
