The RajaSaab Box Office Collection Day 5: Prabhas' Horror Comedy Film Crosses ₹119 Crore India Net
The RajaSaab Box Office Collection: The RajaSaab, the Telugu fantasy horror comedy headlined by Prabhas, has completed close to a week in theatres following its worldwide release on January 9, 2026. As the film enters Day 6 of its theatrical run on January 14, early box office trends indicate a steady but tapering performance after a strong opening weekend.

According to estimates reported by industry tracking portal Sacnilk, the film has collected approximately ₹119.48 crore in India net across all languages, including its premiere shows and the first five full days in theatres. The collections reflect the initial festive boost during the Sankranthi period, followed by the usual weekday slowdown seen for big-ticket releases.
The RajaSaab opened to a notable start, earning around ₹9.15 crore from premiere screenings alone. Day 1 saw a sharp jump, with the film collecting an estimated ₹53.75 crore, driven primarily by the Telugu version, while the Hindi-dubbed version also contributed a visible share. Over the weekend, collections moderated but remained significant, with Day 2 and Day 3 bringing in approximately ₹26 crore and ₹19.1 crore respectively.
As the film moved into its first working week, a sharper drop was recorded. Day 4 (Monday) saw collections fall to about ₹6.6 crore, followed by an estimated ₹4.88 crore on Day 5 (Tuesday). While the Telugu version continues to be the primary contributor, the Hindi version has shown relative stability compared to other dubbed versions, including Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Story, Cast And Early Box Office Trend Overview
Written and directed by Maruthi, The RajaSaab blends fantasy, horror, and comedy elements within a family-centric narrative. The story follows RajaSaab, who lives with and looks after his grandmother Gangamma, an Alzheimer's patient haunted by memories of her missing husband, Kanakaraju. RajaSaab's search for answers leads him to Hyderabad, where personal relationships and a mysterious abandoned mansion tied to his family's past begin to shape the course of his journey.
The ensemble cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, making her Telugu debut, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, with music composed by Thaman S.
From a box office perspective, the coming days are expected to be crucial in determining how The RajaSaab holds during the remainder of the festive window and into the second weekend. With weekday collections showing a decline, trade observers will be closely tracking occupancy trends, regional performance, and word-of-mouth as the film progresses beyond its first week in cinemas.
