The RajaSaab Box Office Collection: The RajaSaab, the Telugu fantasy horror comedy headlined by Prabhas, has completed nine days at the Indian box office and entered its tenth day in theaters today, January 18. The film was released worldwide on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Sankranthi festive period, and opened across multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

According to figures reported by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, The RajaSaab has earned an estimated ₹136.61 crore India net from its premiere shows and the first nine days of its theatrical run. The total reflects collections across all languages, with Telugu accounting for the bulk of the business, followed by Hindi.
The film began its run with paid preview screenings on Thursday, collecting ₹9.15 crore. Its first official day saw a strong jump, with Day 1 (Friday) bringing in ₹53.75 crore across languages. Collections dropped over the weekend, with Saturday contributing ₹26 crore and Sunday adding ₹19.1 crore. As the first working week began, the film witnessed a sharper decline, with Monday recording ₹6.6 crore and Tuesday ₹4.8 crore.
Midweek collections showed slight recovery. Day 6 (Wednesday) added ₹5.35 crore, followed by ₹5.5 crore on Thursday, helping The RajaSaab close its first week at ₹130.25 crore India net. In its second week, the film earned ₹3.5 crore on Friday. Day 9 (Saturday) added an estimated ₹2.86 crore, based on early trends, taking the cumulative total to ₹136.61 crore.
Story Background, Cast And Post-Festive Box Office Outlook
Written and directed by Maruthi, The RajaSaab blends fantasy, horror, and comedy elements. The story follows RajaSaab, a young man caring for his grandmother, who is struggling with Alzheimer's and remains emotionally connected to memories of her missing husband, a former exorcist. RajaSaab's search for answers leads him to Hyderabad and eventually to an abandoned mansion associated with unsettling legends, where personal history, fear, and belief begin to intersect.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. The project is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment.
