The RajaSaab OTT Release: The RajaSaab, a Telugu fantasy horror comedy, is preparing to enter its digital phase after completing its theatrical run during the Sankranti season. Written and directed by Maruthi, the film was released in cinemas worldwide on January 9, 2026. Backed by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, the film features Prabhas in the lead role in a supernatural-tinged narrative with elements of mystery, humour and family relations.

The story follows RajaSaab, who looks after his grandmother Gangamma, an Alzheimer's patient still holding on to memories of her missing husband, Kanakaraju, a former exorcist believed to be in hiding. RajaSaab's search for answers about his grandfather takes him to Hyderabad, pulling him away from his everyday life and into unfamiliar situations.

During his journey, he meets Bessy, a nun, and Bhairavi, who join him as the search continues. Their path eventually leads them to an old and unsettling mansion connected to RajaSaab's family. As they spend time inside the estate, hidden truths and unexplained events begin to surface, changing how RajaSaab views his past and the people connected to it. The film blends elements of mystery, supernatural tension and lighter moments throughout the narrative.

Cast, Technical Team, and OTT Streaming Details

Alongside Prabhas, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan (making her Telugu film debut), Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Zarina Wahab. Music for the film is composed by Thaman S, with cinematography handled by Karthik Palani and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The technical team also includes production designer Rajeevan, costume designer Swetha Thanay and a visual effects unit led by Deccan Dreams.
