In a post shared on March 11, Umair Sandhu wrote that Pawan Kalyan's entry scene in the film is "paisa vasool." In another post a few minutes later, he stated that his first review of the film would be released soon on his Instagram account.

On March 15, Umair Sandhu shared what he described as a "first review" of Ustaad Bhagat Singh on X. In his post, he called the film a "Pawan Kalyan vehicle" and stated that the actor "stole the show." He also commented on Sreeleela's appearance and said the film has elements that could appeal to mass audiences. Sandhu further rated the film 4 stars in his post.

Apart from these social media posts, a report by Filmibeat Telugu has also provided details related to the film's certification and story outline. According to the report, members and representatives of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) watched the film ahead of its release.

As per the report, the film's narrative follows Bhagat Singh, played by Pawan Kalyan, who belongs to a tribal community. Inspired by his mentor, the character is portrayed as someone who follows a life guided by values and discipline. He later becomes a police officer and is shown confronting injustice and unlawful activities in society.

The report further notes that the storyline focuses on a police officer who raises his voice against social issues, corruption, and alleged wrongdoing by political leaders. The character's journey is depicted as one driven by the goal of protecting society and working towards public welfare.

According to a report by Filmibeat Telugu, CBFC officials viewed the film on March 10 and reportedly granted it clearance for release without any cuts. While minor objections were raised regarding certain scenes and dialogues, the film's team provided explanations, after which the board expressed satisfaction.

The producers later announced that the film has received a UA (16+) certificate, which means viewers aged 16 and above can watch the film independently, while younger viewers may require parental guidance.
