Veerabhadrudu Box Office Collection Day 2: Suriya Film Shows Strong Growth In Telugu States

Veerabhadrudu Box Office Collection: The Telugu version of Karuppu, titled Veerabhadrudu, continued its theatrical run with improved momentum in the Telugu states during its second day in theatres. Starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan in the lead, the action drama released worldwide on May 15, 2026, alongside its Tamil original.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared an update on X regarding the film's performance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the post shared on May 17, Veerabhadrudu witnessed a significant rise in ticket sales on its second day, particularly through online bookings.

As per the update, the film reportedly sold close to one lakh tickets on BookMyShow during Day 2 alone. In the Nizam region, the film's gross collection was said to have increased from ₹1.1 crore on Day 1 to ₹2.1 crore on Day 2, indicating a noticeable jump in collections within a day.

The post further stated that advance bookings for Day 3 were showing strong traction across several centres in the Telugu states.

Veerabhadrudu Cast and Crew

Veerabhadrudu is directed by RJ Balaji, who also co-wrote the screenplay along with Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar. The film has been produced under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu.

Apart from Suriya and Trisha, the cast includes RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Mansoor Ali Khan, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy in supporting roles.

The technical crew includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan and music composer Sai Abhyankkar. Telugu dialogues for the dubbed version were written by Rakendu Mouli.

The film's Telugu release is being closely tracked as Suriya's recent films have seen varying responses in the region. With the weekend run continuing, the coming days are expected to provide a clearer picture of how Veerabhadrudu performs commercially in the Telugu market.
