Veerabhadrudu OTT Release: After its theatrical run as the Telugu-dubbed version of Karuppu, Veerabhadrudu is now set to make its OTT debut. The fantasy action drama features Suriya in the lead role and is directed by RJ Balaji, who also appears in the film. Blending courtroom drama, fantasy and social themes, the film arrived in theatres alongside its Tamil version in May 2026.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Veerabhadrudu stars Suriya, Trisha, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy. The film combines elements of mythology and legal drama within a contemporary setting.

The story centres on a young girl awaiting a liver transplant and the challenges faced by her family while seeking treatment. As they navigate a legal system affected by corruption and misuse of power, an unusual lawyer enters the picture and takes up their fight. The case gradually develops into a larger battle involving justice, exploitation and institutional wrongdoing.

At the heart of the narrative is a character linked to a guardian deity who assumes the identity of a lawyer. Through this premise, the film mixes fantasy elements with courtroom proceedings while exploring the struggles of ordinary people caught in a complicated system. The story unfolds against a backdrop of legal disputes, personal hardships and attempts to expose corruption.

RJ Balaji directed the film from a screenplay developed with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar. The film's technical team includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan and music composer Sai Abhyankkar. The action sequences were choreographed by Vikram Mor, while production design was handled by Arun Venjaramoodu.

The film was released in theatres worldwide on May 15, 2026, and marked another collaboration between Suriya and Dream Warrior Pictures.

Viewers will be able to stream Veerabhadrudu on Prime Video from June 12, 2026. The Telugu-dubbed version will become available on the platform on the same day as the streaming release of the Tamil original, Karuppu.
