Veerabhadrudu OTT Release: The Telugu version of Suriya's film Karuppu, titled Veerabhadrudu, is preparing for its digital release after arriving in theatres last month. The fantasy-action drama, directed by RJ Balaji, was released worldwide on May 15, 2026, with the Telugu-dubbed version launching alongside the original Tamil release.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film features Suriya in the lead role alongside Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natarajan Subramaniam, Mansoor Ali Khan, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy.

Veerabhadrudu is set in a world where justice has broken down and corruption has taken root. The story follows a powerful guardian who emerges to challenge wrongdoing and confront forces that exploit the system. Combining fantasy elements with action and drama, the film revolves around a larger battle to restore order in a society where ordinary people struggle to find justice.

Led by Suriya in the central role, the film blends supernatural themes with a conflict-driven narrative, presenting a protagonist who takes on powerful adversaries in an effort to set things right.

RJ Balaji directed the film from a screenplay he developed with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar. The technical crew includes cinematographer G.K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan and music composer Sai Abhyankkar. The Telugu adaptation also features dialogues written by Rakendu Mouli.

Audiences waiting to watch the Telugu version from home will not have to wait much longer. Veerabhadrudu is scheduled to begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 12. The film will be available on the platform as part of the wider digital rollout of Karuppu and its dubbed versions.

The OTT release will allow viewers who missed the theatrical run to watch the film online. As of June 8, the movie continues its theatrical journey in several locations, while its streaming debut is set to expand its reach to audiences across different regions.
