There are four friends live in an Agraharam (A colony of Brahmins) near Amalapuram. All of them come from traditional Brahmin families and all the families are quite orthodox. Their parents ask them to learn Veda and other puranas, but these boys pay no heed. These boys reach Hyderabad and join a college for higher studies. They stay in the house of one Parasuram (LB Sriram), a police inspector. Being innocents, they get attracted by the girls. Suhasini (Anju) is the college beauty and everyone is after her. Viswanatha Sastry @ Viswa (Venu) and his friends also get attracted to her. Somehow, Suhasini likes Viswa and she wants to learn Sanskrit from him. Once both Suhasini and Viswa get locked in a library and the next day, Viswa boasts that he enjoyed a good night with her. After a few days, Suhasini gets pregnancy and everyone blame Viswa. Suhasini's father Raghava Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy) necks her out and warns Viswa of dire consequences. No one comes to the rescue of Viswa despite he pleads innocence. He thinks of getting the pregnancy aborted, but could not do so. On learning this, Viswa's father (Rallapalli) comes to the city and chides Viswa and tells him not to show his face any more. Suhasini feels bad about this and reveals the truth to Viswa's friends. She tells them that Viswa is innocent and she became pregnant not because of Viswa but because of her boyfriend Venkat (Venkat). She doesn't know his whereabouts. Viswa and his friends promise her that they would look after her and also assure her that they would somehow find out where Venkat is. One fine day, Venkat returns from abroad and finds that Suhasini got married and is pregnant also. Being a true lover, he goes to the hospital to see her once. After seeing her from a distance, he leaves the hospital to return to the US. Accidentally, he takes a taxi run by Viswa and hands over a letter to him to give it to Suhasini. After returning to the hospital, Viswa finds that the letter was given by Venkat, goes to the airport. But, by that time, the flight takes off. When Viswa and his friends get worried, Parasuram shows Venkat to them. As Venkat realizes what had happened, he happily rejoins Suhasini and the film ends on a happy note with Raghava Reddy thanking Viswa for being a good friend to his daughter and gifts him his father back. Besides, he gives shares in his property to all the four friends.
The major plus point in the film is the sentimental scenes in the second half. However, the artistes failed to perform to the needed extent spoiling the mood of the audiences. The climax scene was also a little interesting. The comedy track between LB Sriram and Hema are hilarious. Being a seasoned artiste, LB Sriram's performance is worth watching. A song 'Nuvvanee... Nenaneee...' and another song that comes before the climax were choreographed well.
Debutant hero Venu is a big flop. He failed to put up any performance he had also failed in dances and in dialogue modulation. The heroine, though has some similarities to Gajala, also failed to perform. The poor storyline and the improper selection of artistes made the film boring.
Heroine in problems, some boyfriends helping her, the actual hero surfacing in the climax... all this kind of stuff was seen several times on the Telugu screen. But for a couple of songs, the music is also not that impressive. Cinematography has nothing much to talk about. It is not known why the Agraharam scene and the Brahminism was involved as it has nothing to do with the subject. One can conveniently ignore this film as it has neither a good message nor anything worth watching.
