This
is
the
hat
trick
hit
for
producer
Venkat.
After
the
success
of
'Samnyudu'
and
'Gundammagari
Manavadu',
his
film
Bahumati
under
the
direction
of
SV
Krishna
Reddy
is
yet
another
hit
film
on
the
banner
of
RR
Movie
Makers.
It
maybe
mentioned
that
SV
Krishna
Reddy
had
made
the
audiences
taste
his
style
of
film
after
a
long
gap.
The
entire
film
is
stuffed
with
SV
Krishna
Reddy's
style.
This
is
possible
because
of
the
precise
selection
of
artistes.
After
Amani
in
'Subha
Lagnam',
Sangeeta
gave
an
excellent
performance.
Though
the
story
has
the
resemblances
of
'Subha
Lagnam'
the
director
kept
good
twists
making
the
film
quite
interesting.
Pentamma
alias
Bhanumati
(Sangeeta)
is
a
middle
class
girl.
However,
she
had
high
ambitions
to
move
in
costly
cars,
go
abroad,
live
in
a
posh
palace
and
what
not.
Her
father
Paiditalli
(MS
Narayana)
marries
her
to
Venkataramana
(Venu),
who
is
a
police
officer,
by
convincing
her
that
a
police
officer
is
like
a
mobile
ATM
and
could
earn
lot
of
money
through
bribes.
However,
Venkataramana
is
not
like
an
ordinary
police
officer.
He
is
quite
sincere.
He
earns
more
medals
in
his
service
than
money.
So,
Bhanu
could
not
realise
any
of
her
dreams.
She
keeps
on
scolding
him
for
not
becoming
corrupt.
Venkataramana
has
a
principle
-
'A
promise
is
a
promise,
a
police
is
a
police'.
Once
Bhanu
asks
Venkataramana
to
buy
a
lottery
ticket.
After
purchasing
it,
Venkataramana
goes
to
a
hotel
and
eats
tiffin
but
could
not
pay
for
it.
So
he
promises
Dharani
(Shabana
Khan),
the
waitress
of
the
hotel
that
he
would
share
50
per
cent
prize
money
of
the
lottery
if
he
wins.
Miraculously,
he
wins
the
lottery
and
bags
Rs.10
crores.
As
per
the
promise,
he
wanted
to
pay
Rs.5
crore
to
her,
which
is
against
the
wishes
of
Bhanu.
Somehow,
he
fulfills
his
promise.
As
Venkataramana
behaved
like
a
gentleman
and
fulfilled
his
promise,
Dharani
becomes
a
good
friend.
Some
people
in
the
media
try
to
cash
in
on
their
friendship
and
resorts
to
yellow
journalism.
As
they
flares
up
the
issue,
Bhanu
could
not
digest
the
situation
and
wants
to
separate
from
Venkataramana
and
sends
a
divorce
notice.
Venkataramana's
efforts
to
convince
Bhanu
go
in
vain.
The
court
believes
that
there
is
an
illegal
relationship
between
Venkataramana
and
Dharani
and
grants
the
divorce.
In
fact,
Venkataramana
has
an
ambition
to
serve
the
orphans
and
keeps
saving
some
money.
After
the
judgment,
he
comes
to
Dharani
to
say
sorry
that
it
was
because
of
him
she
becomes
unpopular.
The
hidden
cameras
kept
by
the
media
people
to
expose
the
illegal
relationship
between
Venkataramana
and
Dharani
reveal
how
good
Venkataramana
is
and
also
about
his
ambition.
Though
the
Rs.10
crore
lottery
prize
money
goes
to
Bhanu,
Venkataramana
gets
Rs.20
crores
in
the
form
of
donations.
Later,
Venkataramana
and
Dharani
lead
a
happy
married
life.
Bhanu
continues
to
mint
more
money
with
her
intelligence.
PLUS:
The
experience
and
expertise
of
director
SV
Krishna
Reddy
resulted
in
a
perfect
script,
fantastic
subject,
tight
screenplay,
and
melodious
music.
We
can
clearly
find
out
that
all
the
artistes
in
the
film
did
not
overact
and
listened
to
the
director
and
followed
his
directions.
This
is
the
major
highlight
of
the
film.
The
song
shot
on
Sunil
is
another
highlight,
while
Sunil's
action
as
an
advocate
in
court
scene
is
superb.
Venu
played
very
well
and
almost
reminded
the
audiences,
Jagapati
Babu
in
Subhalagnam,
while
Sangeeta
also
did
her
job
nicely.
The
entire
first
half
was
full
of
comedy
and
the
second
half
was
a
little
serious
with
court
scenes
etc.
However,
the
film
is
worth
watching
right
from
the
titles
till
the
end.
SV
Krishna
Reddy
mesmerised
the
audiences
with
one
more
beautiful
subject.
MINUS:
Though
the
film
was
brought
out
well,
there
are
lapses
here
and
there.
A
police
officer
will
not
have
any
overtime
and
he
can't
earn
any
money
for
overtime.
But
the
hero
says
he
was
earning
money
by
doing
overtime
to
fulfill
his
aim.
The
comedy
track
is
another
wrong
placement.
There
is
absolutely
no
connection
to
the
comedy
track
with
Brahmanandam,
Ali
and
others.
Though
the
director
used
the
comedy
track
to
give
a
message
that
the
male
and
female
should
understand
each
other
to
lead
a
happy
married
life.
The
comedy
track
on
its
own
is
good.
But
it
is
not
a
situational
comedy.
One
more
minus
point
is
that
in
a
game
one
had
to
win
and
other
has
to
lose.
But
in
this
film,
the
heroine,
though
shows
stubborn,
remains
a
queen.
The
audiences
expect
that
she
would
become
pauper
in
the
climax,
but
the
director
gave
a
different
twist
to
that
subject.
REMARKS:
Unlike
the
recent
films
of
SV
Krishna
Reddy,
this
film
had
a
true
reflection
of
his
style
and
tenor.
The
film
is
worth
watching
and
there
are
no
obscene
scenes
and
it
could
be
watched
by
the
entire
family
by
sitting
together.
A
good
film
after
a
long
time
and
the
film
would
definitely
give
a
good
break
for
Venu
and
Sangeeta
in
their
film
career.
