Manikanta - Review... Contd

MINUS: Malavika is shown in a couple of scenes but her role is not established. Comedy by Vadivelu is a bore as it is the copy of several scenes from various films. There is no Telugu nativity in most of the scenes in the film.

REMARKS: There is nothing new or novel in the movie and you will not regret even if you miss it. There is nothing that the film offers except Arjun's performance and Jyothika's glamour. The screenplay and movement of the story are old fashioned and the entire first half go at a slow pace. However, the second half manages to pick the momentum a little. But the entire story is predictable.
