Shivaji - Review... Contd

By Staff

Though Shivaji is dead as per official records, he returns as NTR. In the climax, he attacks Adikesava Reddy at his own college premises and gets him stamped to death.

PLUS: Rajini's performance, Shreya's glamour, Shankar's directorial capabilities, Antony's editing, KV Anand's cinematography, Vivek's comedy - each and every aspect of the film are cool.

MINUS: Though the film reflects the directorial capabilities of Shankar, his attempts to maintain the commercial elements in the film makes the first half run tardy. So, the audiences feel bored for stretching scenes in the first half. However, the second half picked up the moment.

REMARKS: The film started with an above average to hit talk. However, it is overheard that almost all Rajini's films runs with above average talk and picks up after one or two weeks. Let us wait and watch for two weeks whether the film becomes a hit film or not.
