Boni – Review
Ramana Gogula has launched his own banner, Green Mangoes Cinema and has chosen to make a film with Sumanth as the hero. Raj Tippalla is making his debut for a full time feature film.
DD (Sumant) and Chinna (Trinetrudu) are orphans. Saraswatamma (Sudha), the caretaker of the orphanage pampers these two children. After the death of Saraswatamma, DD and Chinna decide to fulfill her wish of starting a Pulihora Centre. They become ruffians and work for Giri (Tanikella Bharani), once they grow up. DD and Chinna save money to fulfill their childhood wish but DD"s love Priya runs away with the money. So they decide to do something risky to earn money in no time.
They come to know that Das (Jayaprakash Reddy) is the right person to seek help. On the other side, Pragati (Kriti), who launches an NGO, tries to help a group of villagers whose lands have been snatched by a moneylender. In order to help them, Pragati decides to play a kidnap drama and earn money from her father.
At the time of the execution of the plan, DD and Chinna kidnap her. Pragati believes that she has been kidnapped as per their plan, but soon realizes that it is somebody's plan. But, the innocence of DD helps her in getting her plan executed perfectly. But still the doubt remains as to who has kidnapped her. In the climax, she comes to know that her uncle has planned everything. But, DD and Chinna helps Pragati to complete her mission. The film ends with the union of DD and Pragati.
PLUS
The
story
of
the
film
is
the
only
plus
point
as
it
is
novel
and
is
different
from
routine
love
subjects
with
action
in
its
backdrop.
But
for
the
story,
the
film
has
nothing
more
to
offer.
Sumanth,
who
has
tried
to
change
his
image
from
a
soft
hero
to
action
hero,
has
once
again
failed
in
his
attempt.
Tanikella
Bharani
and
Jayaprakash
Reddy
are
okay
in
their
roles.
Once
again,
Chandramohan
has
played
a
negative
role
in
the
movie.
MINUS:
The
director"s
immaturity
in
direction
is
glaring
in
each
and
every
frame
in
the
movie.
In
a
bid
to
present
the
film
in
a
different
style
he
has
scripted
the
screenplay
in
a
haphazard
manner
and
the
end
result
is
a
big
puzzle.
Nobody
knows
what
he
is
doing.
The
director,
the
hero,
the
villain
and
the
audiences
are
in
a
state
of
confusion
as
to
what
is
happening
on
the
screen.
It
is
not
known,
why
the
hero
and
heroine
are
running
and
why
the
villains
are
chasing
and
it
is
absurd
how
the
entire
police
administration
has
kept
mum
when
the
daughter
of
a
minister
is
kidnapped.
Moreover,
a
police
inspector
executes
the
kidnap
drama.
REMARKS:
When
someone
plans
to
produce
a
film,
especially
when
he
is
related
to
the
film
industry,
he
should
have
an
idea
about
the
basic
ingredients
for
a
movie
like
story,
screenplay,
efficient
director
and
good
artistes.
But
for
the
basic
storyline,
the
film
has
nothing
perfect.
The
narration
is
pathetic
and
the
entire
film
is
a
complete
mess.
The
heroine,
though
a
debutant,
has
tried
to
imitate
the
Bollywood
top
heroines
like
Katrina
Kaif
and
Deepika
Padukone.
She
has
failed
to
perform
and
does
not
have
the
physique
to
attract
the
young
audiences.
With
no
commercial
values,
the
film
has
failed
to
appease
the
mass
audiences
and
the
young
audiences.
