In
order
to
save
the
country,
the
soldiers
should
not
only
be
posted
in
the
borders
but
also
be
in
the
society.
This
is
the
basic
storyline
of
Srisailam
by
Nageswara
Rao
KS.
Unfortunately,
the
film,
which
has
a
huge
cast
including
Krishnamraju
and
Nagababu
in
key
roles,
has
failed
to
leave
a
lasting
impression
on
the
minds
of
the
audiences.
Srisailam
(Srihari),
a
Major
in
the
army
posted
at
Kashmir
is
a
great
patriot.
He
is
an
orphan
and
Viswanath
(Nagababu)
is
his
only
best
friend.
Unfortunately,
Viswanath's
wife
and
son
dies
in
a
blast
triggered
by
terrorists.
Later,
in
an
operation
Viswanath
nabs
a
terrorist,
but
is
forced
to
release
them
to
save
some
tourists
who
have
come
for
Amarnath
Yatra.
Later
Viswanath
kills
himself
along
with
the
all
the
terrorists
with
the
help
of
explosives.
Srisailam
decides
to
eliminate
all
the
terrorists
inside
the
country.
During
the
investigation,
Srisailam
comes
to
know
that
the
terrorists
are
not
infiltrated
into
the
country,
but
are
groomed
in
Hyderabad.
With
the
permission
of
his
superior
office,
Srisailam
goes
to
Hyderabad
as
a
terrorist.
He
comes
across
the
Pakistani
terrorists
and
learns
of
their
plan
to
kill
Krishnadevaraya
(Krishnamraju)
the
University
vice-chancellor
of
a,
who
was
to
spearhead
the
peace
initiative
between
India
and
Pakistan.
Srisailam
gets
the
operation
and
as
per
plan,
joins
the
university's
engineering
college
as
bus
driver.
He
wins
the
appreciation
of
Krishnadevaraya
and
agrees
to
teach
boxing
to
his
son
Ram
(Ram
Kiran).
The
Ultras
plan
an
attack
when
Krishnadevaraya
was
about
to
meet
the
Muslim
leaders
but
Srisailam
saves
him.
But
Krishnadevaraya
suspects
him
and
subjects
him
to
a
narco-analysis
test
and
learns
the
truth.
After
this,
both
Krishnadevaraya
and
Srisailam
join
hands
and
they
finally
eliminate
all
the
terrorists
.
PLUS:
Srihari
is
in
his
usual
role
and
has
excelled
in
action
scenes.
All
the
action
scenes
have
been
choreographed
in
a
stylish
manner.
Though
Nagababu
appears
in
a
few
scenes,
he
has
shown
exemplary
performance
and
Krishnamraju,
who
has
made
a
re-entry
into
films
after
a
long
gap
appears
in
an
honourable
role.
But
for
a
couple
of
action
scenes,
the
film
has
nothing
much
to
say.
MINUS:
The
director,
who
has
brought
out
many
good
films
in
his
career,
has
failed
to
navigate
the
film
in
a
proper
manner.
Especially
the
movement
of
the
film
is
quite
haphazard.
It
is
absurd
that
an
Army
officer
takes
up
investigation,
when
the
police
who
have
to
maintain
law
and
order
in
the
state.
It
is
also
absurd
to
say
that
Muslims
always
perpetrate
anti-social
activities.
The
word
'Jihad'
has
been
glorified
in
the
film
and
it
is
not
known
how
and
why
things
take
place
in
various
scenes.
The
music
is
horrendous,
especially
the
re-recording
is
terrible.
None
of
the
songs
are
well
synchronized.
Moreover,
the
placement
of
songs
is
also
very
poor.
The
director
has
failed
to
establish
the
love
or
relationship
between
Srihari
and
Sajitha.
The
young
couple
selected
for
the
film
is
another
big
draw
back.
Ram
Kiran,
neither
has
a
good
physique
nor
glamour,
but
has
been
projected
as
hero,
while
Suhani
was
wasted
in
the
heroine's
role.
Dialogues
by
Swamiji
and
Vijay
are
good
in
parts.
The
comedy
track
with
Venumadhav,
Chitram
Sreenu
and
Brahmanandam
has
failed
to
tickle
the
funny
bone.
Onwhole,
the
director
has
failed
to
make
use
of
the
services
of
seasoned
artistes.
REMARKS:
The
audiences
who
go
to
the
theatre
to
watch
a
movie
for
entertainment
are
at
a
loss
as
they
cannot
find
any
kind
of
entertainment.
But
for
the
action
scenes,
the
film
had
nothing
to
watch
and
even
they
have
not
been
properly
placed.
It
is
doubtful
how
far
it
can
attract
the
audiences.
The
theme
of
the
film
is
elimination
of
terrorists.
But
what
the
hero
does
to
eliminate
them
has
not
been
properly
highlighted.
It
appears
too
cinematic
how
a
person
who
has
got
several
bullet
wounds
recovers
easily
and
fights
terrorists.
