After
bagging
a
hit
with
Bumper
Offer,
the
producers
of
Vade
Kavali
got
an
opportunity
to
market
their
film
and
SVR
Media
came
forward
to
release
the
film
across
the
state.
Director
Rajendra
Darshan,
who
brought
out
the
film
with
a
typical
love
story
failed
to
see
the
light
for
a
long
time.
However,
the
producers" efforts
to
cash
in
on
the
latest
image
of
Sairam
Shankar
did
not
yield
any
fruitful
results.
Moreover,
the
Telangana
agitation
and
the
agitation
that
followed
in
coastal
Andhra
and
Rayalaseema
added
salt
to
the
injury
with
poor
turnout
to
the
film
Anand
(Sai
Ram
Shankar)
is
the
son
of
Ananda
Rao
(Naresh),
proprietor
of
a
motorbike
showroom.
He
enjoys
the
life.
According
to
him,
girls
are
like
flowers
and
they
could
be
feast
to
the
eyes
of
boys.
He
says,
a
girl
should
touch
the
heart
and
soul
of
a
boy
and
he
should
feel
the
love.
Once
he
comes
across
one
such
girl
called
Gita
(Suhasi).
However,
Gita
has
another
story
in
her
flashback.
When
she
was
a
child,
she
meets
a
boy
called
Abhiram
(Chandrahas),
who
presents
her
a
ring.
So,
Gita
is
waiting
for
that
dream
boy
who
gave
her
the
ring.
Anand
moves
around
Gita
and
with
the
help
of
Gita"s
sister-in-law
(Vodina)
(Hema),
he
comes
to
know
about
this
and
lies
that
it
was
he
who
presented
her
a
ring.
So,
Gita
accepts
Anand"s
love.
Learning
that
Gita
will
not
accept
lies,
Anand
decides
to
tell
the
truth
to
her.
By
that
time,
Gita
comes
to
know
through
her
Vodina
the
fact
and
refuses
Anand.
The
rest
of
the
story
be
remain
a
suspense.
PERFORMANCE:
Sai
Ram
Shankar
did
his
best
as
hero.
He
displayed
good
emotions
in
sentiment,
love
and
action
scenes.
However,
he
had
to
improve
his
body
language
and
dialogue
modulation.
As
the
film
was
shot
a
little
earlier
to
Bumper
Offer,
we
could
find
a
little
immaturity
in
his
acting.
Heroine
Suhasi
is
gorgeous
in
looks.
She
appeared
cute
in
some
scenes
and
in
close-up
shots,
she
appeared
a
little
elder
to
Sai
Ram
Shankar.
However,
she
is
good
in
modern
outfits
as
well
as
in
traditional
sarees.
She
filled
the
glamour
slot
well
in
dances.
Chandrahas,
who
made
his
debut
as
another
hero,
did
not
get
a
chance
to
show
his
acting
capabilities.
Hema
is
another
notable
performer
in
the
film,
while
Naresh
played
a
friendly-father
to
a
grown
up
son.
The
comedy
track
between
Raghubabu
and
Venumadhav
failed
to
tickle
the
funny
bone
of
the
audiences
much.
Ali
did
a
cab
driver
and
he
had
very
little
scope
to
entertain
the
audiences.
Kota
Shankara
Rao
and
others
did
justice
to
their
roles.
TECHNICAL:
Music
director
RP
Patnaik,
who
scored
music
for
a
Telugu
film
after
a
long
gap,
tuned
the
songs
keeping
in
view
the
mass
audiences
and
most
of
the
songs
have
huge
music.
The
lyrics
were
almost
not
audible
in
some
songs.
He
remixed
a
popular
song
'Navvindi
Malle
Chendu…" of
Chiranjeevi
in
Abhilasha
and
it
was
tuned
well.
However,
the
choreography
of
the
song
was
not
so
impressive.
The
director"s
poor
taste
was
reflected
in
putting
songs
while
the
hero
failed
in
love.
The
direction
appeared
completely
old
fashioned.
Had
the
film
came
in
80s
or
90s,
it
would
have
a
good
response
but
it
won"t
suit
the
taste
of
the
present
generation
audiences.
There
are
many
jerks
in
editing
too.
In
this
age
of
satellite
phones
and
I-Phones,
the
hero
and
heroine
searching
for
a
director
in
Malaysia
like
common
people
is
absurd
and
the
neither
the
hero
nor
the
heroine
carry
cell
phones
in
their
abroad
trip.
It
is
not
known
how
Anand
called
up
Abhi
from
the
hotel
room
and
what
made
him
to
wait
for
so
long
when
he
knew
his
phone
number
once
they
land
in
Malaysia.
There
are
many
such
lapses
in
the
film.
The
screenplay
is
atrocious
and
the
director
lost
grip
on
the
film
on
many
occasions.
REMARKS:
Sai
Ram
Shankar
should
have
asked
the
producers
to
junk
this
film
instead
of
releasing
it
as
it
spoiled
his
image
which
he
earned
from
Bumper
Offer.
Moreover,
music
played
a
vital
role
in
making
Bumper
Offer
a
big
hit.
The
director
should
think
novel
and
come
out
with
a
variety
subject
as
basic
love
subjects
are
boring
to
the
audiences
as
the
audiences
of
present
generation
look
for
something
novel.
The
only
solace
in
the
film
is
the
camera
work
by
Kalyan
Sami
as
he
succeeded
in
catching
some
beautiful
scenic
spots
abroad
with
his
camera.
