Director
Suman
Pathuri
has
come
up
with
a
good
idea
of
recalling
the
college
days
by
a
group
of
friends.
In
fact,
one
such
film
came
up
on
the
Telugu
screen,
where
the
friends
meet
after
a
gap
of
few
years
and
share
their
ideas
and
their
life
earlier.
This
time,
he
rehashed
a
similar
story
for
his
latest
film
'Inkosari",
a
revision
of
memories.
He
chose
a
few
young
and
upcoming
artistes
and
a
hero
of
a
lesser
image,
besides
an
old
and
familiar
face
of
the
Telugu
heroines
Richa
Pallod
for
the
characters.
He
tried
to
mould
the
film
in
order
to
portray
the
revision
of
memories
of
a
group
of
friends.
But
could
not
exactly
present
it
on
the
screen.
A
group
of
six
friends
Ajay
(Raja),
Shruti
(Manjari),
Deepti
(Richa),
Vicky
(Saandip),
Sudhakar
(Ravi
Varma),
Bala
(Vennela
Kishore)
and
their
senior
Pavan
(Harish)
vows
to
meet
exactly
after
one
year.
In
fact,
Vicky
makes
the
proposal,
but
others
are
not
sure
whether
they
could
really
meet
each
other.
However,
Vicky
insists
and
they
agree
half-heartedly.
Ajay
leaves
for
the
US,
Deepti
gets
married
to
a
busy
realtor,
Vicky
turns
a
software
professional,
Sudhakar
continues
to
look
after
his
father"s
business,
while
Bala
struggles
with
his
wife.
Shruti
gets
ready
to
marry
after
seven
years.
At
that
moment,
Ajay
returns
from
the
US
and
meets
Bala.
He
proposes
to
go
for
a
week"s
outing
along
with
all
the
other
friends
in
their
group.
Both
Ajay
and
Bala
go
to
Vicky
and
convince
him.
Then
they
go
to
Sudhakar
and
make
him
to
agree
to
meet
in
his
farmhouse.
They
also
meet
Deepti
and
Shruti
and
plead
with
them
to
join
them
and
spend
time
together.
Shruti
doesn"t
want
to
join
them
as
her
marriage
was
fixed
and
was
busy
with
the
arrangements.
What
happened
in
these
7
days?
Along
with
time.What
happens
when
some
unresolved
issues
once
again
surface?
Thats
should
be
watched
on
screen.
PERFORMANCE:
Raja
failed
to
come
out
with
any
novel
performance.
He
is
as
usual.
The
film
has
nothing
new
to
offer
him.
However,
he
is
the
only
lead
artiste
with
hero"s
image.
Manjari
Phadnis
filled
the
glamour
slot
and
played
the
female
lead
opposite
him.
However,
she
too
failed
to
emote
well
in
her
character.
Richa
Pallod
is
just
okay
in
her
role
but
the
director
failed
to
elevate
her
image
though
she
made
her
screen
presence
after
a
long
gap.
Other
artistes,
including
Ravi
Varma,
Sandeep,
Harish,
Rao
Ramesh
and
Gollapudi
Maruti
Rao
did
justice
to
their
respective
roles.
It
is
Vennela
Kishore
steals
the
show
with
his
comedy.
Sans
Kishore,
the
film
has
nothing
to
offer.
Saira
Banu
appears
as
his
wife
in
a
couple
of
scenes.
Sayali
Bhagat"s
item
number
failed
to
impress
the
audiences.
TECHNICAL:
Music
by
Mahesh
Shankar
remained
average,
while
the
re-recording
is
poor.
None
of
the
scenes
got
any
elevation
with
re-recording.
None
of
the
songs
were
impressive
nor
foot-tapping.
The
item
number
was
also
not
choreographed
effectively.
Camera
work
by
Gogineni
Ranganath
Babu
was
poor
and
the
editing
by
KV
Krishna
Reddy
is
just
okay.
The
story
penned
by
Raj,
DK
and
Sita
Menon
has
nothing
novel
to
offer
and
the
screenplay
was
haphazard.
Many
scenes
were
abruptly
ended
and
appeared
disjointed.
Kalyan
Palla"s
production
values
are
okay.
Director
Suman
Pathuri
failed
to
narrate
the
subject
exactly
as
per
his
thoughts
properly.
ANALYSIS:
It
is
just
a
time-pass
movie
and
can
be
watched
by
a
group
of
friends
as
they
could
recall
their
memories.
However,
the
film
may
not
liked
by
the
mass
audiences
as
nothing
was
offered
for
them.
The
absence
of
commercial
elements
like
high-voltage
dances,
action
packed
scenes,
would
keep
the
mass
audiences
off
from
the
film.
However,
the
film
could
be
enjoyed
by
the
city
buffs.
Basically,
the
film
was
also
aimed
at
multiplex
viewers
and
it
could
satisfy
the
wishes
of
a
certain
class
people.
