Nithin
made
his
debut
with
Jayam
directed
by
Teja
and
it
was
a
big
hit.
After
that
film
he
had
a
blockbuster
under
the
direction
of
Rajamouli
for
Sye.
Unfortunately,
after
this
film
he
had
no
notable
hits
to
his
credit.
Even
he
fumbled
when
he
joined
hands
with
creative
director
Krishnavamsi
for
Sri
Anjaneyam.
After
lots
of
failures,
he
came
up
again
before
the
audiences
with
Seetaramula
Kalyanam
(Lankalo).
The
title
was
quite
interesting
and
raised
many
hopes
in
him
that
it
would
be
a
hit.
Moreover,
he
had
a
glamorous
and
chirpy
heroine
like
Hansika
paired
opposite
him.
The
film
had
a
very
good
opening
in
Hyderabad
as
he
is
the
lone
hero
from
the
Telangana
region
and
the
T
agitation
found
many
supporters
for
this
hero.
Chandu
(Nithin)
is
a
dare
devil
youth
and
is
a
fearless
boy.
Once
he
comes
across
a
beautiful
girl
Nandu
(Hansika),
daughter
of
a
dreaded
factionalist
Peddi
Reddy
(Suman).
Soon
he
loses
his
heart.
He
starts
teasing
her
and
wants
to
prove
that
he
is
sincerely
loving
Nandu.
He
tells
Nandu
that
he
could
do
anything
for
her.
Then
the
latter
tells
him
that
he
should
not
follow
her
until
she
calls
him.
In
order
to
grab
her
attention,
he
sends
his
father
(Chandramohan)
and
mother
(Pragati)
to
express
his
love
and
let
her
know
that
they
too
encourage
him
instead
of
trying
to
divert
his
attention
from
love.
Later
Nandu
realises
that
she
too
is
truly
loving
him.
At
this
juncture,
Jayaprakash
Reddy
(Jayaprakash
Reddy)
goes
to
Peddi
Reddy
for
an
alliance
for
his
brother"s
son
Veera
Pratap
Reddy
(Saleem
Panda).
Peddi
Reddy
refuses
to
marry
Nandu
with
Veera
Pratap
Reddy.
This
flares
up
the
factionalism
between
the
two.
At
a
time
when
Nandu
wants
to
express
her
love
to
Chandu,
she
is
taken
away
by
her
father
to
their
village.
The
climax
deals
as
to
how
the
two
meet
and
how
the
success
of
their
love
turns
up.
PERFORMANCE:
Nithin
once
again
proved
as
a
macho
man
with
good
muscle
power
in
action
scenes.
However,
most
of
the
action
scenes
were
highly
cinematic
as
he
delivers
punches
on
villains
beyond
anybody"s
imagination.
He
worked
hard
during
dance
sequences
to
attract
the
youth
and
mass
audiences.
However,
he
still
needs
to
improve
his
dialogue
modulation.
Hansika
filled
the
glamour
slot
and
shook
her
legs
with
Nithin
perfectly.
However,
she
had
very
little
scope
for
performance.
She
maintained
good
comedy
timing.
Saleem
Panda
gave
his
best
as
a
factionalist
and
flexed
his
muscles
well
in
action
scenes.
Once
again
Brahmanandam
gave
good
entertainment
to
the
audiences
with
his
comedy.
Ali,
Subba
Raju,
Duvvasi
Mohan
did
justice
to
their
respective
roles.
MS
Narayana
gave
a
variety
comedy
in
this
film.
Chandramohan,
Pragati,
Surekhavani
and
others
did
justice
to
their
respective
roles.
It
is
not
known
why
the
director
chose
an
artiste
like
Suman
as
he
failed
to
elevate
the
character
in
proper
manner.
He
was
subdued
like
anything.
TECHNICAL:
Story
by
Vikramraj
and
Mukund
Pande
is
average.
It
is
a
routine
and
almost
stale
subject.
The
most
notable
point
here
is
that
the
writers
tried
to
prove
that
factionalists
are
nothing
but
a
bunch
of
jokers
and
will
not
use
their
brain.
When
an
unknown
person
joins
the
group,
the
factionalists
will
generally
look
into
many
angles
but
in
this
film,
they
just
accept
the
hero
and
his
friend.
Dialogues
by
Thota
Prasad
are
average
and
lacked
punch.
Of
course,
they
are
good
at
few
places.
The
script
in
total
is
very
weak.
But
for
the
screenplay,
the
film
would
be
a
little
boring.
The
director
planned
the
film
well
and
placed
songs
and
action
scenes
whenever
the
film
is
going
out
of
route
and
turned
boring.
Music
by
Anoop
Rubens
is
average
and
the
background
score
is
very
casual
and
failed
to
elevate
any
of
the
scene.
Camera
by
M
Joshi
is
good
especially
in
action
scenes.
Of
all
the
songs,
'Kiss
Me" proved
to
be
a
little
interesting.
The
choreographer
Ganesh
gave
some
novel
steps
in
this
film.
Kotagiri
Venkateswara
Rao
tried
to
make
the
film
a
little
interesting
with
his
editing
skills.
Director
Eswar
should
keep
in
mind
that
such
routine
stuff
will
not
go
well
with
present
generation
audiences
as
they
are
well
aware
of
many
departments
in
film-making
these
days.
They
look
for
some
novelty
instead
of
routine
commercial
masala.
Production
values
of
Malla
Vijaya
Prasad
is
good.
REMARKS:
Till
the
interval
bang,
the
film
has
nothing
new
to
offer
but
for
the
love
track
that
runs
between
the
hero
and
heroine.
The
director"s
attitude
in
showing
father
and
son
sharing
liquor,
mother
encouraging
his
bad
habits
saying
that
it
is
not
new
in
the
present
generation
youth
is
in
bad
taste.
However,
the
romance
and
comedy
remained
the
saving
grace.
The
second
half
was
full
of
action
scenes
and
an
attempt
to
evoke
laughter
with
the
help
of
Subbaraju,
Brahmanandam,
Ali
and
others.
Hansika"s
glamour
and
the
comedy
by
the
trio
are
the
only
plus
points
and
made
the
film
at
least
watchable
for
some
time.
The
film
is
nothing
but
a
commercial
formula
film
and
remains
an
average
film
at
box
office.
