Actor
Meka
Srikanth
has
scored
several
hits
with
family
entertainers
like
Pelli
Sandhadi,
Ahwanam
and
Taj
Mahal.
Of
late,
he
has
been
facing
severe
setback
in
his
career
in
recent
times
and
his
solo
movies
have
failed
to
make
it
big
at
the
Box
Office
and
raise
beyond
the
bar.
As
usual,
the
actor
is
at
his
best
in
his
latest
Lucky,
but
he
once
again
fails
to
impress
the
viewers
and
this
time
it
is
due
to
his
bad
selection
of
the
story.
Lucky
is
a
romantic
entertainer
movie
and
Srikanth's
performance
is
the
main
attraction
in
it.
There
are
a
few
other
stuffs
like
Sai
Karthik's
music
and
Srinivas
Reddy's
picturiation,
which
will
impress
you.
But
there
are
lot
many
things
in
the
film
that
bore
you.
The
biggest
disappointment
comes
from
the
distraction
from
the
main
story.
Silly
climax
scenes
and
forced
Brahmanandam's
comedy
track
are
its
drawbacks.
Hari,
who
has
had
departments
like
story,
screenplay
and
direction,
has
erred
a
lot.
He
lacks
clarity
in
the
entire
film.
He
sets
out
on
to
tell
you
one
thing
and
he
takes
a
diversion
when
you
are
set
enjoy
the
joy
ride.
The
introduction
of
major
characters
and
few
comedy
scenes
will
keep
you
glued
to
the
screen,
but
the
film
soon
turns
dragging
and
boring
in
the
first
half.
The
interval
scene
is
interesting,
but
it
does
not
long
last
as
the
second
half
is
completely
boring.
Lakshmi
Narayana
alias
Lucky
(Srikanth)
is
a
guy
from
a
middle
class
family,
who
is
working
in
a
travel
agency.
Lucky
dislikes
women,
but
with
the
help
of
psychologist
Dr
Sathya
(Geetha),
he
slowly
develops
good
feelings
towards
them.
The
story
takes
a
new
twist
when
some
terrorists
try
to
bring
about
destruction
in
Hyderabad.
What
happens
next
will
form
the
crux
of
the
story.
Srikanth
has
done
brilliant
job
by
carrying
the
entire
responsibility
of
running
the
show
on
his
shoulders.
As
a
person,
who
hates
women
to
the
core,
he
wins
your
hearts
with
his
superb
expressions.
He
also
scores
full
marks
for
crooning
a
song
in
the
movie.
Meghana
Raj
also
impresses
you
with
her
decent
acting
and
gramour.
Tagubothu
Ramesh,
Roja,
Jaya
Sudha,
Brahmanandam,
Raghu
Babu,
AVS,
MS
Narayana
are
also
good
in
their
respective
roles.
Sai
Karthik's
music
and
background
score
are
major
attraction
in
the
technical
front
and
they
are
another
saving
grace
for
the
film.
Srinivas
Reddy's
cinematography
is
another
plus
of
the
movie.
The
dialogues
and
editing
are
just
average.
The
movie
lacks
rich
production
values,
which
is
a
big
disappointment.
Overall,
Srikanth
surely
rocks
with
his
excellent
performance
in
the
movie
Lucky,
which
has
everything
for
you
except
an
interesting
story.
Director
Hari
has
marred
the
beauty
of
the
film
by
distracting
from
the
main
plot.
Watch
it
if
you
are
a
hardcore
fan
of
Srikanth.
