Shadow
Review
Shadow
becomes
quite
slow
and
monotonous
by
the
end
of
first
half
and
it
hits
the
rough
patch
in
the
second
half,
which
is
quite
predictable
and
dragging.
Although
he
has
lot
of
masala
stuff
in
this
portion,
the
director
may
not
be
able
to
hold
your
attention
for
too
long.

Review
After
his
father
Raghuram
(Nagababu)
murdered
by
Nana
Bhai
(Aditya
Pancholi),
Rajaram
(Venkatesh)
is
brought
up
by
Baba
(Nasser).
In
a
bid
to
take
revenge,
Rajaram
assumes
the
identity
of
Shadow
and
hunts
the
members
of
Nana
Bhai's
gang.
He
joins
hands
with
tough
cop
Prathap
(Srikanth)
to
complete
his
mission.
How
they
finish
off
the
baddies
together
will
form
the
rest
of
the
story.

Victory
Venkatesh,
who
loves
to
experiment
with
different
characters,
has
done
a
unique
role
in
Shadow
and
he
is
the
showman
in
the
movie.
He
has
delivered
wonderful
performance
in
it.
His
stylish
looks,
action,
dance
and
dialogue
delivery
will
definitely
rock
the
viewers.
Thanks
to
the
director
for
unveiling
other
side
of
Venky.

Taapsee
Pannu
has
less
scope
for
performance,
but
she
steals
the
show
with
her
thundering
beauty.
She
has
overtaken
item
girls
in
Gabbar
Singh
song.
Her
chemistry
with
Venky
is
also
good
to
watch
on
screen.

Bollywood
actor
Aditya
Pancholi,
who
is
debuting
in
Telugu
with
Shadow,
has
played
Mumbai
don
Nana
Bhai.
He
has
delivered
good
performance,
which
surely
impresses
the
Telugu
film
goers.
The
director
has
featured
him
in
a
stylish
way.

Shadow
Review
The
movie
has
rich
production
values
and
S
Thaman's
music
and
background
are
the
main
attraction
in
the
technical
front.
His
soundtracks
are
trendy
and
good
to
listen.
Songs
like
'Naughty
girl' and
title
track
'Shadow'
are
our
picks.
Shadow
Review
Prasad
Murella's
camera
work
is
the
second
highlight
in
the
technical
front.
He
has
done
a
brilliant
picturisation,
especially
in
song
sequences.
Action
sequences
are
another
big
strength
of
the
movie.
They
have
been
choreographed
very
well
and
are
on
par
with
Hollywood
movies.
Shadow
Review
Meher
Venkatesh
dialogues
are
also
good.
He
has
penned
some
of
the
best
funny
one-liners
and
punch
dialogues
for
the
film.
Other
technical
departments
have
also
done
commendable
job.
But
editing
is
weak.
Marthand
K
Venkatesh
could
have
trimmed
certain
scenes
in
the
second
half.
Especially,
the
climax
is
very
lengthy
and
boring.
He
could
have
chopped
and
made
it
crispy
and
interesting.

Review
Verdict:
Shadow
has
everything
right
going
its
way
except
a
good
screenplay,
which
is
nothing
but
a
blend
of
comedy
and
action
getting
misfired.
The
director
has
failed
in
executing
his
ideas
in
crispy
way.
However,
it
is
good
entertainer,
which
will
appeal
both
class
and
mass
audience.
It
is
a
must
watch
film
for
Venky
fans.
