Jump Jilani - Movie Review

Allari Naresh's last outing Laddu Babu, which released in theatres on April 18, has bombed at the Box Office. Within two months after its release the comedy king has made his comeback with another laugh riot. His latest movie Jump Jilani, which has been directed by E Satti Babu, has released in cinema halls across the globe today (June 12). This time, he has made sure that he will rock the viewers.

Jump Jilani is comedy entertainer, the Telugu remake of hit Tamil film Kalakalappu. Allari Naresh's performance is the main highlight of the film. E Satti Babu's narration and punch dialogues, Isha Chawla's glamour, rib-tickling comedy scenes, good music, beautiful camera work and exotic locales are other attraction in the movie. A few illogical and over the top comedy scenes are its drawbacks.

The story of Jump Jilani is about a guy, who is struggling to run his ancestral hotel. Sticking to the original storyline, E Satti Babu has made a lot of changes in the remake. Especially, heroine Madhavi looked lovable and girl-next-door in the original. Whereas her character in the remake is quite contrary to the original. She looks dominating here. Along with changes, he has also included a few commercial ingredients to suit the taste of the Telugu audience.

Jump Jilani opens with Srikanth's voice over and it heads to reveal how Raghu Babu helps Naresh to survive from hard situations. The first half of the film is entertaining with a few comedy and romantic scenes, but it is dragging. Post interval the narration picks up the speed with a host of comedians entering the scene. The second half of the movie is high on entertainment quotient. The climax is predictable.

Sattibabu (Allari Naresh), who is the Brand Ambassador of Bad time, is tring hard to save his ancestor's hotel Satyanarayana Vilas, where his granddaughter, who is a chef, helps him to manage the things. Dharamaraju (Raghu Babu) offers him financial support. He falls in love with Food Inspector Madhavi (Isha Chawla) at the first sight. His brother Rambabu (Allari Naresh), who is a small-time thief, traps Dharmaraju and gets him arrested. What happens next will creates a laugh riot. Jump Jilani is good for a one time watch. Naresh did a great job in the dual role. Vijay Ebenazer did not do a great job as a musician. Locations and actors were shown in perfection.
