Maine Pyar Kiya - Movie Review

Rating:
3.0/5
Pradeep Madugula became director with the movie Billa Ranga, which hit the screens on April 25. Within two months after its release, he is back with his second directorial venture Maine Pyar Kiya, which has hit the marquee today (June 20). His latest movie features Pradeep Ryan, Isha Talwar and Komal Jha in the lead roles.

Maine Pyar Kiya is a romantic comedy entertainer. Pradeep Madugula's engaging story, Santhosh Narayanan's music and background score, amazing camera work, Satya Dev's brilliant performance, Isha Talwar's glamour, Venu's comedy and a few sentiment scenes and humorous dialogues are the highlights of the film. Posani's stupid characterization and a few predictable sequences are its big drawbacks.

The movie has a routine love story, but Pradeep Madugula has made it an interesting watch by creating an engaging screenplay for it. The director has blended comedy and sentiment very well in this romance drama. There is nothing exciting in first half of the film, which is simple, routine and predictable. Whereas the second half is quite entertaining. Especially, the sentimental scenes between Satya Dev and Madhumitha keep you engaged.

Naveen (Pradeep Ryan) is a software engineer in a company and he loves flirting with HR Manager (Komal Jha) and other beautiful girls in the company. Naveen's childhood friend Shalini (Isha Talwar) enters the same company. He has a bad past with her. He falls in love her, but he tries to hide his identity from her. But when he is about propose her, she realises his original identity. What is the bitter past ? Will they get reunited? The rest of the film will answer these questions.

As software engineer, Pradeep Ryan has delivered good performance in Maine Pyar Kiya. He is at ease in all kinds of scenes. Isha Talwar has less scope for performance, but she will impress you with her glamour. Satya Dev and Madhumitha have given brilliant performances, which are teat to watch on screen. Venu tries his best to tickle your funny bones. Komal Jha, Viva Harsha and others have done justice to their roles.

Maine Pyar Kiya has good production values and Santhosh Narayanan's soundtracks and background score are the main attractions in the technical front. The amazing cinematography is one of the big strengths of the film. Other technical departments have also delivered commendable works in the movie.

Overall, Maine Pyar Kiya is good romantic comedy entertainer that you can watch it once for timepass.
