Cinema Choopistha Maava Movie Review

Raj Tharun and Avika Gor, who had earlier took over the limelight with a breezy entertainer, Uyyala Jampala are back together with Cinema Choopistha Maava. To know whether the hit pair brought any luck to the film, check out the review.

Cinema Choopistha Maava Story

Kaththi (Raj Tharun) is a easy going guy with a care free attitude, who is absolutely aimless. He happens to fall in love with the Bengali girl Parineetha (Avika Gor) and manages to make her love him back with his funny traits and honest approach.

But the conflict point raises when he had to impress Parineetha's father (Rao Ramesh) as well to really win her. What were the challenges he had to face in the process forms the crux of the story.

Performances

Raj Tharun delivered an entertaining performance in a massy avatar while Avika Gor played a studious and sweet girl next door without loosing on her bubbly-self. But she felt plain and little monotonous considering the roles she has played earlier.

The chemistry between the pair was an add-on. Rao Ramesh has got a lengthy role and he was at his usual best. Jabardasth team managed to fill in few laughs with their trademark punches.

Technical Aspects

Director Trinad Rao Nakkina failed to keep the film engaging as it drags and drags till the end and even the good scenes looses its magic. Editor should have put his scissors to best use as he has gone little easy in trimming down the unwanted lags.

Music by Sekhar Chandra serves as a booster to the film and cinematographer delivered some rich visuals in a limited set up.

Raj Tharun has improved his skill alot and Kaththi roles seems to be a tailor made one for the actor.

Avika Gor has very little to play in the second half as the focus shifts to Raj Tharun and Rao Ramesh completely.

Director

Director has done a decent job in dealing the scene between Raj Tharun and Rao Ramesh by putting them in quite an entertaining way.

Dialogues

Dialogues were quite thoughtful at times other than being extremely funny, which helped the film a lot.
