Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini Movie Review: High On Emotions

The super hit combination of Prema Katha Chitram, Sudheer Babu and Nanditha Raj are back with Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini. Let us re-view the film to know if the duo added any magic for this touted to be beautiful love story.

Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini Story

It is a story of a simple guy called Krishna, who went on to become a company's CEO. The plot tracks back to his student life, childhood memories and his first love Radha, when he decides to go for a student reunion at his college.

The twist in the tale occurs when Radha fails to attend the get together. Why did she give it a miss? Did Krishna meet Radha? Was he able to confess his love to her? These locks in the screen play forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Sudheer Babu has got a great chance to prove his acting mettle since the character has to emote too many emotions at various stages of character development. Portrayal of Krishna demands a different kind of presentation from the actor and Sudheer did match up to the character needs.

A little stress on the dialogue delivery would help the actor big time. Nanditha Raj looked beautiful in the film and we suppose her captivating eyes has made her job easy. Giri Babu, Pragathi and the little Krishna and Radha were good enough.

Technical Aspects:

Though Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini is a remake of Kannada super hit, Charminar, the makers and the director Chandru has changed the entire setting from Charminar to Krishna river, to suit Telugu nativity and sensibilities.

The setting of the film enhanced the beauty of the love story and the mood. Hari's music and the cinematography also helped the film largely. Production values matches up to the good will of Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha, who are known to make quality films.

However, the snail paced narration comes as a curse for the film. A little more of the first half could have gone under the scissors. Though the dialogues were heart-touching, some of them were too cliched.

Verdict:

On the whole, Krishnamma Kalipinidi Iddarini makes a decent watch with a breezy setting and a beautiful love story.
