Kumari 21 F, starring Raj Tharun and Hebah Patel in lead, is a first from director Sukumar's production. Written by Sukumar, and directed by Surya Prathap, the film had already made a lot of good buzz among the youth and movie lovers. Read the review to know if the film has managed to score well at the box office.

Kumari 21 F Story:

As the title indicates, the film revolves around Kumari (Hebah Patel), who is very outspoken and a small time model by profession. When the Mumbai based girl relocates to Hyderabad, she meets Siddhu (Raj Tharun) and his gang of friends, who do petty robberies for quick money. Though Siddhu finds Kumari saucy, he eventually falls for her and enjoys the liberty. But the conflict arises when he starts to doubt her character because of her boldness. When he decides to test her loyalty with the help of his friends, an ugly turn of events takes place revealing the twists in the heroine's life. What made Kumari a bold girl? Did Siddhu realize his mistakes? What are those ugly turn of events in the tale? These form the rest of the story.

Hebah Patel was aptly cast for the role Kumari, as she looked bold, energetic and glamorous. Though she felt loud at times because of her body language, it blended in well with her character sketch. Raj Tharun has yet again impressed with high jinks and he played well as a confused youngster.

Technical Aspects:

Though the film is made with a small budget, Kumari 21 F is a technically rich film as it has proven technicians like Rathnavelu and Devi Sri Prasad, attached to it. Rathnavelu's cinematography added the fresh feel to the film, while Devi Sri Prasad takes away some brownie points by scoring catchy and youthful tunes for this new age love story. However, some songs were shot unexciting, which drops the pace of the film. Written by Sukumar, the film's story comes as a hard hitting, bold and realistic one. Dialogues were too brazen, though we cannot put them off saying they are awkward as they are used to establish heroine's character and the cheeky storyline, the writer wants to convey. Some of the key scenes in the second half portrays the mastery of Sukumar's writing. Director Prathap was good enough in just executing Sukumar's ideas as one can only see Sukumar's style of making in every scene.

The film is certified with an 'A' for a reason and avoid watching it with family to keep yourself away from embarrassing moments. On the whole, Kumari 21 F is, perhaps, a too forward film for Telugu audience to accept right now but it will surely win the love of urbane youth. Give it a watch if you are a lover of new age love sagas. Read more in the slides below.

Likes every sukumar's films, titles of the film starts off in an interesting way using a mobile phone and its apps.

Kumari 21 F with a run time of 132 min : 49 sec is certified with A. There were many audio cuts and double meaning dialogues in the film.

The way the hero finds a solution for his problems by drawing a lesson from his parents is conceived well.

Both Raj Tharun and Hebah performed well in emotional scenes, which is hard to pull off for young actors.

Hebah takes away all the attention as she plays the title role and the story revolves around her. She looked hot and bubbly in the film.
