Ambajipeta Marriage Band is the upcoming comedy-emotional drama featuring young talent Suhas in the lead role. Written and directed by Dushyanth Katikaneni, the movie is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on February 2, in the two Telugu-speaking states as well as overseas. Set in a village Ambajipeta in the early 2000s, Malli is a barber and also runs a basic old-style music band where they perform for various events including weddings and deaths. Malli and his sister Padmavati are twins and as they grow up to become individuals with self-respect, their 25th birthday changes the course of their entire lives.

The movie's pre-release event was held in Hyderabad recently, where the entire cast and crew came together to promote their venture. Producer SKN, who helmed films like Taxiwaala and Baby, was the first person to buy the film's ticket. He not only spoke highly about the actor Suhas and bought the first ticket for about Rs 25,000, but the filmmaker also heaped praise on the team for bringing a small idea to the silver screen with high-productional values and gripping narration. SKN went on to say that he saw the film's first copy and he is pretty sure the movie is going to be a blockbuster hit.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who watched the entire film along with the cast and crew couldn't help but praise the efforts put in by the director, who made his debut along with Suhas and other technicians.
