His hard work always won critical appreciation, and this time, he came up with an intense emotional romantic drama set up in the backdrop of a village. Titled Ambajipeta Marriage Band, the movie which marks the directorial debut of Dushyanth Katikaneni, was released all over the world on February 2.

Set in a village Ambajipeta in the early 2000s, Malli is a barber and also runs a basic old-style music band where they perform for various events including weddings and deaths. Malli and his sister Padmavati are twins and as they grow up to become individuals with self-respect, their 25th birthday changes the course of their entire lives.

This comedy emotional drama with a sensitive undercurrent theme stars Suhas as Mallikarjun aka Malli. In addition, the movie also features Shivani Nagaram, Goparaju Ramana, Swarnakanth, Nithin Prasanna, Vinay Mahadev, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Sharanya Pradeep among others in key roles.

The movie is a joint production venture of GA 2 Pictures, Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, and Mahayana Motion Pictures banners helmed by Dheeraj Mogilineni, and Venkat Reddy. Bunny Vas and Venkatesh Maha are presenting the film. Wajid Baig cranked the camera and Kodati Pavan Kalyan worked as the film's editor. Shekar Chandra composed the entire background score and music for the Ambajipeta Marriage Band movie.
