HanuMan X Review: Teja Sajja's biggest release, HanuMan, with his Zombie Reddy director Prasanth Varma, hit the screens amid huge fanfare and expectations on January 12. With superstar Mahesh Babu on the other side with Trivikram's Guntur Kaaram, HanuMan ventured to the silver screen with high hopes.

HanuMan is touted to be the first of its kind Indian superhero film in which the protagonist Hanumanthu will receive superpowers through Lord Hanuma's blessings. He then wages a war to put an end to the atrocities that happen in his village called Anjanadri.

When people questioned their guts to come alongside superstar Mahesh Babu's biggest release to date, Guntur Kaaram, the filmmaker Prasanth Varma never dodged away from answering. He maintained his stand and said that they had announced the release date first even before Guntur Kaaram did.
In addition, he and Teja Sajja along with the cast and crew exuded confidence in HanuMan, which is now resounding with the audiences and Telugu movie lovers in the theatres.

HanuMan Cast
Teja Sajja will be seen in the protagonist's role Hanumanthu. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Hanumanthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.

Written and directed by Prasanth Varma, HanuMan is the production venture of K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh worked on the film's background score and music. Dasaradhi Sivendra cranked the camera while Saibabu Talari worked as the editor.
