Saindhav X Review: Venkatesh Daggubati's latest action thriller titled Saindhav opened on the big screen for overseas fans and film buffs a bit early. The movie is going to hit the screens worldwide on January 13 on the occasion of Sankranti.

It was a long time ago that we saw Victory Venkatesh aka Venky Mama in an action film with a rugged look. The actor is famous for his docile and family man image. SaiKo's character from Saindhav is a fresh face to the actor's filmography.

Saindhav Premise

Saindhav Koneru aka SaiKo is a simple and endearing family man who lives with his wife Manogna and daughter Gayathri. He has a dark past unbeknownst to his wife. Suddenly, his daughter Gayathri falls sick and is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy and requires an injection that costs Rs 17 Crore. SaiKo then has no other option but to go back to his old, bad ways to do what he has to do to save his daughter. He has to then face a ruthless gangster and an enemy from the past, Vikas Malik.

Saindhav Cast

Along with Venkatesh Daggubati, this family action thriller features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in his Telugu debut. He played the role of Vikas Malik. Arya played the role of Manas and Shraddha Srinath as Manogya, Saindhav Koneru's wife. Ruhani Sharma is seen as Dr Renu and Andrea Jeremiah plays the role of Jasmine. Jisshu Sengupta, Mukesh Rishi, and Jayaprakash among others played important roles in the movie.

The movie was written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Venkat Boyanapalli bankrolled the movie under the Niharika Entertainment banner. Santhosh Narayanan composed the film's entire music and score. Saindhav has cinematography by S Manikandan and Garry BH worked as the editor.
