Thandel EARLY Review: Naga Chaitanya's upcoming romantic drama titled Thandel, is gearing up for a worldwide release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi on February 7. The movie co-written by Karthik Theeda was directed by Chandoo Mondeti and stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead.
Although the story of the movie is based on the real-life incident of a fisherman from Srikakulam being arrested by the Pakistan government for entering international waters, the director is said to have limited his narration only to the romantic and emotional angle of the film, leaving it to be essentially a love story than anything else.
Nagarjuna Watches Thandel
Nagarjuna, the veteran who let his two sons build their careers in Tollywood as they like, reportedly watched Thandel at their Annapurna Studios. Reportedly, the actor-businessman was satisfied and expressed confidence in the movie.
Nagarjuna has been waiting to see Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni get successful in Tollywood for a long time. With Thandel, the actor is positive that Naga Chaitanya's career will take a sharp surge. In addition, he mentioned especially about the way emotional and romantic scenes have come out, showering applause.
Expectations are high on Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's film as the makers spent about Rs 80 Crore, the actor's career-highest budget on the making of Thandel. In additional, Sai Pallavi took Rs 5 Crore as remuneration and Naga Chaitanya took home Rs 15 Crore.

Apart from Naga Chaitanya as Raju and Sai Pallavi as Satya AKA Bujji Thalli, the movie stars Kalpalatha, Karunakaran, Prakash Belawadi, Mahesh Achanta, and Parvateesam among others in prominent roles.
Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind produced he movie under the Geetha Arts banners. Naveen Nooli and Shamdat Sainudeen worked as the film's editor and cinematographer. Karthik Theeda co-wrote the movie along with the director, Chandoo Mondeti. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's entire background score and music.
