'2018' To 'Guppy': Tovino Thomas' Most Loved Movies

The survival drama 2018, which is based on the Kerala flood, is one of the highest-grossing movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. The film hit screens in 2023 and earned Rs ₹30 crore on it's opening weekend world wide. 2018 is the first fastest Malayalam film joined the 100 crore club. Starring  Tovino Thomas and directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the movie was selected by the Film Federation of India as the country's official entry to the Oscars in 2023. 2018 becomes the first Malayalm movie which entered in the 200 crore club.
