Aakhri Sach

Aakhri Sach is a Hindi-language crime investigative thriller that premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on August 25, 2023. Directed by Robbie Grewal, the series is inspired by the 2018 Burari deaths and follows Inspector Anya, played by Tamannaah Bhatia, as she investigates the mysterious deaths of eleven members of a family. As the case unfolds, it reveals hidden secrets, psychological complexities, and disturbing beliefs, with a supporting cast including Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, and Gehna Seth.


Honeymoon Se Hatya

Honeymoon Se Hatya is a Hindi true-crime documentary that explores shocking real-life cases where wives murdered their husbands. The series covers chilling incidents like the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case, the Meerut blue drum case, the Delhi electric shock case, the Bhiwani influencer case, and the Mumbai tile case, offering a deep dive into motives, investigations, and disturbing realities. It is available for streaming on ZEE5. 

Nithari: Truth Lies and Murder

Nithari: Truth, Lies & Murder is a gripping true-crime documentary that premiered on November 14, 2025, and is available on Discovery+. The series delves into the horrific 2006 Noida serial killings, where the remains of several women and children were found near a bungalow in Nithari village. It explores the complex investigation involving Moninder Singh Pandher and Surinder Koli, shedding light on investigative lapses, systemic failures, and the 2025 Supreme Court acquittal of Koli due to lack of evidence. 


Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi

Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi is a three-episode true crime series that premiered on Netflix on July 20, 2022. Directed by Ayesha Sood and produced by VICE India, it explores the horrifying crimes of serial killer Chandrakant Jha, who terrorized Delhi between 2006 and 2007. Through interviews with investigators, journalists, and psychologists, along with dramatized reconstructions, the series offers a chilling deep dive into one of the city’s most disturbing cases. 

Manvat Murders

Manvat Murders is a 2024 Marathi-language crime thriller streaming on Sony LIV, based on the real-life Manwat murders of the 1970s. Directed by Ashish Avinash Bende, the series stars Ashutosh Gowariker as IPS officer Ramakant Kulkarni, who investigates a series of brutal killings in a village. Set in 1972–73, the story uncovers a chilling mix of superstition, greed, and alleged human sacrifice, with a supporting cast including Sai Tamhankar, Makarand Anaspure, and Sonali Kulkarni.
