Tollywood industry is one of the biggest industries in Indian Cinema. With power packed action thrillers and pan-Indian movies, they had attracted to many moviegoers around the world. On other hand, the industry failed to attract the audiences in their remake versions. The telugu remake of the malayalam film 'Kappela' ,'Butta Bomma' released in theaters in last week. As per the reports, the film also failed to convey the original content to audiences. Recently, they had remade many hit movies from Malayalam industry. But, all they were not well-received at Telugu box office. From Mega Star Chiranjeevi's God Father to Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayaka on this list. Directed by Sachy the film 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum ' one of the hit commercial movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. It depicts the story of two men and their egos. Actor Prithviraj and Biju Menon who appeared in lead role in the film. With narrative dialogues and outstanding performances of cast, the film attracted to many audiences to theatres.Like a complete entertainer, the film reflects contemporary socio-political situations brilliantly. The film was remade in Telugu in 2022, and had done good business but it did not created that original impact among audiences only Pawan Kalyan fans celebrated. Power Star Pawan Kalyan who looks quite subdeud in his role while Rana who failed to carry his character qualities on -screen. Taking about audiences response, the film failed to convey the original content among audiences.  


Maheshinte Prathikaaram - Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya

The film 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' is considered as one of the notable performances pf actor Fahadh Fasil. It is sweetest tale of revenge with mixture of hilarious and romantic elements. The film is packed with rustic characters and endearing romance. The strong supporting cast and excellant screen play, are the major highlights. Talking about the Telugu version which titled 'Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya' which gives priority to glorify  masculinity in the garb of heroism. Actor Satya Dev who surprised his fans with stunning performances on -screen. But the film which followed feel-good moments of its orginal version .

Mumbai Police - Hunt

Prithviraj starrer film ' Mumbai Police' is an absolutely thriller drama, which broke sexual stereotyping of the male protagonist conept in films. This film is all about male bonding and female characters are connected to the flash back. Mumbai Police is undoubtedly one of the finest works from Roshan and his crew. With brillant back ground music and screen play the film declared a superhit at the box office. While, the telugu version 'Hunt' which failed to convey the orginal content to audiences.

 


Lucifer - God Father

With over action sequences and masala elements, the film'God Father' which gives an oppurtunity to rise Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s stardom and pan-India popularity. It was the dircetorial debut for Malayalam  actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. With the complete actor Mohanlal who played titular role in the film. With amazing performances of many talented actors, the film was declared as a box office hit. But, when it remade in Telugu the film which lost orginal script elements ad give priority to action and mass dailogues.

Kappela - Butta Bomma

The film 'Butta Bomma is a offical remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam film 'Kappela'. It featured Anikha Surendran,Arjun Das and Surya Vasishta in lead roles. Butta Bomma is boring with poor performances of cast and failed to conevey the real message to audiences.
