8 Years Of 'Premam': 5 Reasons Why The Movie Is Still Favourite Among Youngsters

The film 'Premam' is one of the best romantic films ever made in Malayalam cinema. Helmed by Alphonse Puthran, the film depicted the story of a man who fallen in love with three women in three different period of  life time. It started with a flash back story, which evokes curiosity among audience to watch the movie again. Like a complete heart-touching movie, it also highlights the lost love, insecurities and conflict in relationship. 

Premam is not only a  love story, but also reminds you about your college days. It is a perfect campus  drama which focuses on value of friendship, care free life and dirty picture of power politics within the academics.

Starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role was the major attraction of the movie. He played the role of 'George Kora' had grabbed the attention of many cinephiles around us. Actress Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parmeaswaran and Madonna Sebastian who appeared in the female lead role opposite to Nivin Pauly in different period of time. The on-screen chemistry between Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi was touched many hearts. 

Rajesh Murugesan who composed music for the film 'Premam'. He composed four songs become super hit among audience before release of the movie. The song 'Malare' is sung by Vijay Yesudas in the movie,  is also considered as one of the best-romantic songs in Malayalam.

The film was released in theaters in 2015 and emerged as a block buster hit movie of that year. Apart from released in Kerala, the film was well -received in Tamilnadu. Premam was the first Malayalam film re-released in Tamilnadu in 2016. As per the reports, the movie has earned more than Rs 38 crore after completing 50 days in theaters. The total worldwide collection of the movie around Rs 60 crore. The film broken the record box-office collection of Anjali Menon's 'Bangalore Days'.
