Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan follows the journey of Saba, a passionate theatre artist who blindfolds herself for a method-acting experiment during a trip to Mussoorie. There, she meets Jahaan, a talented musician who hides the fact that he is visually impaired. Unaware of each other’s realities, the two develop a deep emotional connection. However, when Saba is about to remove her blindfold, Jahaan distances himself, afraid of how she might react. The story then leaps three years ahead, with Saba on a new life path in Europe, only to cross paths with Jahaan once again, reigniting feelings and stirring emotional complexities.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan had a disappointing run at the box office. Despite being Shanaya Kapoor’s debut film alongside Vikrant Massey and backed by a major production house, the movie struggled to attract audiences. In its opening days, it earned only a few lakhs, and its overall collection is estimated to be around ₹1.5 to ₹1.6 crore, which is significantly lower than its production budget.
