Anikha Turns a Year Older: A Look at Her Early Roles, Achievements & Future Dreams

Before her official debut, Anikha appeared briefly in the climax of the 2007 Malayalam blockbuster Chotta Mumbai, starring Mohanlal. Though uncredited and only a few seconds long, it marked her very first on-screen presence. Her true acting debut arrived in 2010 with Kadha Thudarunnu, where her emotionally impactful performance earned her early recognition.

Despite a flourishing film career, Anikha has always held academic aspirations. While pursuing her degree at Sacred Heart College, Kochi, she once expressed interest in becoming an IAS officer reflecting her strong dedication to education alongside her creative pursuits.

Anikha’s long-awaited transition from child artist to lead actress came with the 2023 Telugu film Butta Bomma, an official remake of the acclaimed Malayalam movie Kappela (2020). Her performance showcased maturity, depth, and versatility, earning praise from both critics and audiences.
