Titled 'Ayali’, is a women -centric drama,is directed and written by  Muthu Kumar. It stars  Abhinaya Shree and  Malayalam actress Anumol K Manoharan in key roles.

Apart from Abhinaya Shree, the series stars , Smruthi Venkat, Lovelyn Chandrasekhar, Bagavathi Perumal, Linga, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, TSR Dharma Raj, Gayathri, Tara, Melodi, and Pragadheeswaran in the supporting roles. Produced by S. Kushmavathi under the banner of  Estrella Productions, the cinematography is handled by Ramji.

Touted to be a women-centric drama, 'Ayali’ follows the story of a young and ambitious teenager Tamil Selvi who has a dream to become a doctor. She is symbolising the issues and struggles faced by women in the weaker section of society. This show is about how she breaks barriers to achieve her dream. It also discusses topics like women education and empowerment and women security. The series will be an adaptation of old customs and rituals of rural life in Tamil Nadu. The  story also focuses the social condition of rural class and struggles of women in traditional society.

Directed by Muthu Kumar ' Ayali ' is a Tamil web series that will be released on January 26, 2023, on  Zee5 . Starring Abhinaya Shree, Singam Puli, and Anumol K Manoharan in the lead roles, the series will stream in Tamil and Telugu.

By highlighting the issues of women as well as the importance of education in a profound way, the drama conveys a social message to audiences in different way. The eight-episode series will stream on ZEE5 from January 26.
