Border 2 is a war drama showing the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, focusing on Operation Chengiz Khan. The film follows Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler (Sunny Deol), Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya (Varun Dhawan), Fg Offr Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon (Diljit Dosanjh), and Lt Cdr M.S. Rawat (Ahan Shetty), showing their training, personal lives, and battles. The film stars Sunny Deol reprising his role as Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri, alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by J. P. Dutta, the movie continues the legacy of patriotic storytelling, highlighting the bravery, sacrifice, and camaraderie of Indian soldiers during wartime.

Border 2 has emerged as a major box-office success, earning over ₹460 crore worldwide after its release on January 23, 2026, during the Republic Day weekend. The war drama, led by Sunny Deol, collected about ₹341.12 crore net (₹406.10 crore gross) in India, while overseas markets contributed around ₹57.71 crore, taking its worldwide total to approximately ₹463.81 crore. With these strong numbers, the film has been declared a Clean Hit at the box office.
