Bramayugam: Check The Complete Details About Megastar Mammootty's Upcoming Horror Thriller

The title poster of Megastar Mammootty's upcoming film with Boothakalam fame director Rahul Sadasivan was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Chingam 1. Titled 'Bramayugam' is a horror thriller written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan.  The film's dialogues are penned by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award-winning novelist TD Ramakrishnan and feature Mammootty in a significant role. The film also marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil-based production house Y Not Studio along with Night Shift Studios.

The thriller drama that tells a story about an abandoned house with a violent past. Actor Mammootty will be played as a mysterious man who will surely grab the audience attention to watch the movie on the big screen. On the other hand, it's a multilayered story about corruption, cruelty, and deception at every level of society. We can expect the film to rule at the box office and attract more cinephiles to watch it in theaters.

Bramayugam is an upcoming horror-thriller movie, helmed by Bhoothakaalam director Rahul Sadasivan. It features a star-studded cast including Megastar Mammootty, Siddharth Bharathan, and Arjun Ashokan. Written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, 'Bramayugam' marks his first collaboration with director Rahul Sadasivan with Megastar Mammootty. Kammattippadam Actress Amalda Liz will be seen in the female lead role. The film is being jointly produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra & S. Sashikanth under the banner of Nigh Shift Studios LLP and Y Not Studios. Shehnad Jalal will handle cinematography while Christo Xavier composed the music for the movie.

If reports are to be believed,' Bramayugam' is being made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, making it one of the expensive movies in Malayalam. Actor Mammootty will also be paid Rs 10 crore for his role in the movie. Meanwhile, the production cost is rumored to be 50 crores. The cost is huge as the horror-thriller genre has required the makers to invest a lot in setup and other technical aspects like VFX.

Fans are eagerly awaiting news about the release date for 'Bramayugam'. According to reports, Bramayugam is expected to hit the theaters in January 2024. Touted to be a thriller drama, Bramayugam is the first film which is produced under the banner of Night Shift Studios. Apart from Malayalam, Bramayugam will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
