Arjun Ashokan takes the lead in Anand Sreebala, marking Vishnu Vinay's directorial debut. Scripted by Abhilash Pillai, the writer behind Malikappuram, this film draws inspiration from real-life events. Produced by Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto under the banners of Kavya Film Company and Aan Mega Media, the movie boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Aparna Das, Saiju Kurup, Sangeetha, Siddique, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Aju Varghese. The movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters on November 15, 2024.
Following the success of Romancham, Arjun Ashokan returns to the horror thriller genre with Sumathi Valavu, created by the team behind Malikappuram. Produced by Waterman Films LLP and backed by Murali Kunnumpurath, the screenplay is penned by Abhilash Pillai. Dineshkumar Purushothaman handles cinematography, while Ranjin Raj composes the soundtrack. Joining Arjun in the cast are Gopika Anil, Niranj Maniyanpillai, Shyam Mohan, Sreepathyan, and Malikappuram’s Devanandha.
Anpodu Kanmani is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Liju Thomas, starring Arjun Ashokan, Anagha Narayanan, Johny Antony, Altaf, Unniraja, Navas Vallikkunnu, Mala Parvathy, and Mridul Nair. Produced by Vipin Pavithran under the Creative Fish banner, the film features music by Samual AB, cinematography by Sarin Raveendran, and editing by Sunil S, with Sanoop Dinesh as executive producer. Anpodu Kanmani is reportedly set for a theatrical release on November 8, 2024.
Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, and Anaswara Rajan come together for Ennu Swantham Punyalan, a fantasy comedy directed by newcomer Mahesh Madhu and scripted by Samji M Antony. Produced by Ligo John under Truth Seekers, the film also features Althaf Salim, Vineeth Vishwam, Indrans, Renji Panicker, and Baiju Santhosh.
