The Dhurandhar saga begins in 1999, when Intelligence Bureau chief R. Madhavan recruits Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh) for a dangerous deep-cover mission in Pakistan. Adopting the identity of Hamza Ali Mazari, he infiltrates Karachi’s criminal underworld and earns the trust of gang leader Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna), only to uncover a larger conspiracy led by rogue ISI officer Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal). As Hamza rises within the gang and gains local support, the mission takes a tense turn when his secret handler is compromised, putting his true identity at serious risk.
