Fahadh Faasil's Top Box Office Hits Before 'Aavesham'

Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum directed by Akhil Sathyan and featuring Fahadh Faasil in the lead, stands out as a feel-good film and one of the finest of the previous year. In terms of box office success, the movie garnered an impressive Rs 17.2 crore globally.

Fahadh Faasil’s critically acclaimed holdover Malayalam drama Kumbanlangi Nights has become the first solid blockbuster of Mollywood in 2019. The film, which marks the directorial debut of Madhu C Narayanan and has been written by ace writer Syam Pushkaran, has garnered an excellent gross of Rs 20 cr from 11 days worldwide.

Marking a victorious return, the film saw the reunion of renowned director-writer pair Sathyan Anthikad and Sreenivasan, propelling it to the pinnacle of Fahadh Faasil's individual successes. The latest reports confirm that 'Njan Prakashan' has achieved over 37 Crores in worldwide box office earnings within a remarkably short span of 23 days.

Varathan, helmed by director Amal Neerad and headlined by Fahadh Faasil and Aishwarya Lekshmi, emerges as a cinematic gem, promising an exhilarating ride from beginning to end. This Malayalam thriller is a testament to the harmonious blend of enthralling narrative, exceptional performances, and breathtaking visuals, crafting an indelible cinematic experience. According to reports, the film garnered a global box office collection of Rs 33 crores upon its theatrical debut.

This is another blockbuster movie of the actor, which was released in 2014 and garnered almost Rs 10 crore in total box office collections across India. The film, written and directed by Anjali Menon, was produced by Anwar Rasheed and Sophia Paul under the esteemed banners of Anwar Rasheed Entertainments and Weekend Blockbusters.

Fahadh's family movie 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' emerged as the top-grossing movie of 2016, earning an impressive gross collection. Directed by Dileesh Pothan, the film reportedly amassed Rs. 17.35 crore after enjoying a successful 100-day theatrical run in Kerala. With its blend of romance, comedy, action, and revenge, the movie resonated well with audiences, who hailed it as Fahadh's comeback film following a string of unsuccessful ventures.

Made on a budget of Rs. 3.5 crores, the movie collected Rs. 38 crores at the box office. Helmed by Dileesh Pothen, the cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nimisha Sajayan, and Alencier Ley Lopez. Sandip Senan and Anish M. Thomas served as producers under their banner Urvasi Theatres. Bijibal composed the music, Rajeev Ravi handled the cinematography, and Kiran Das edited the film.
